Amen!Amen!Amen! That voice and anointing kept me through a very difficult childhood. I will forever be grateful for being introduced to wonderful Dottie by my dear Aunt Mildred. I love you Dottie!
My God Almighty! I've watched Janet Paschal sung this song, but I had never seen it sung like this. No wonder Dottie Rambo is a force to reckon with when it comes to Gospel Singing. Wow! What a lady, and what a performance! I wish I could love her more, but I only have one heart.
Such a wonderful woman! Sighs beautiful voice and smile! And she was a beautiful person inside and out! But she is no longer in pain she is in heaven singing for god in person!!!! -3
@24kevinB ok Thanks. Yeah i think so too. But I believe salvation is not about appearance, its about the heart and your condition. I think God wants us all to be lovely and put our selves together in a lovely way
The opinion of one person and one person only matters when it comes to entering Heaven. That is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. To quote Matthew Henry: "Here is the sum of the whole gospel, the covenant of grace in a few words"; 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house' Acts 16:31
@24kevinB I think where the UPC is referring (and I could be wrong) is the scripture that reads that a woman isn't to wear anything that pertaineth to a man. Only the Levitical priests wore something called breeches (similar to pants) and women in the bible were strictly forbidden to do so. However, preaching that a woman can't go to heaven because she wears pants, I don't particularly agree with. It's like they're putting a person's salvation on their apparel.
@24kevinB - I'm not UPC, so forgive me for not understanding your point. Did the UPC teach that she shouldn't cut her hair/wear makeup/be a part of the Christian network? Or did they put her down for doing so? Teaching against something and criticizing something are two different things. I'm not familiar with all of the UPC teachings or Dottie Rambo's history with them, so forgive my ignorance. Besides, what are they preaching that's so hateful? Thanks, John
Holy mother of God what an ending!!
