- Опубліковано 18 жов 2024
- Comedian Zach Zucker (Stamptown) joins us to share the downsides of going to clown school in France instead of playing baseball at Harvard, literally singing out of your ass (but not in front of grandma), and why we should normalize nudity on stage.

More about Gianmarco:
Gianmarco Soresi is a stand-up comedian, actor, and a little too much for some people. He’s told jokes on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Comedy Central, Netflix’s Bonding, Don’t Tell, The Real Housewives of New York for some reason, and he was a JFL New Face in 2022. He’s acted in Billy Crystal’s Here Today, Hustlers, The Last OG, and in his theater days shared the stage with some people who’ve gone on to become huge real estate agents. You can see him post the kind of crowdwork clips that are arguably destroying the artform of stand-up comedy everywhere @gianmarcosoresi and he obviously has a podcast called The Downside with Gianmarco Soresi.🎤

Mr. S, I can give you a ringing endorsement for DMT, (Ayahuasca) it's the one drug I felt better afterwards than I did before taking it. Plus, the during is also fantastic! 👍
Gianmarco, I doubt you will ever see this - but it’s important to me that you know your podcast playing is the only thing that calms my puppy down when we have to leave him home to go to work. If the playlist runs out, he barks and howls like crazy. We think it’s because I listen to you so much he associates it with us being home 😂
Calling Petco right now to see if they’ll sponsor us
We learnt things, We laughed, We cried, We stuck drills up our ******* and ***** *** *******. Thank Gianmarco and Russell!
Dear GM. For your floss ziplock issue, if you complain to the company, those complaints do go to the “quality” dept and it has a good chance of getting addressed. Sincerely an “insider”
I've seen full eclipse once, it is an incredible experience. If i ever will be kinda close to it once again, i am totally going. Like if it is a couple hours flight away, canceling all my work and all that shit. It is incredible, absolutely incredible
Just recently booked tickets for his show in London and then saw this drop - excited to listen!!
Favourite episode so far, loved listening to y'all talk so in depth about your crafts
I thoroughly enjoy your comedy stand-up and the insightful podcasts you've done with Russell. It's a fantastic way for you to entertain people, regardless of whether they agree or disagree with your perspectives. You always manage to keep moving forward and stay true to yourself, sharing your unique point of view and boundless curiosity. Never let any part of your authentic self be diminished - continue to rise up with power and confidence. Your ability to connect with audiences and express your ideas so compellingly is truly inspiring.
I'm willing to bet the KKKKK person you met on AIM was just a Brazilian that knew some English but not enough to know the difference in how to convey laughter in text. In Portuguese KKKK is the equivalent of hahahaha.
That is one of the most fascinating cultural differences I’ve heard of, that’s so funny
@@rehnaanliker5931 To be clearer, the letter k in Portuguese is pronounced ka. So when they write kkkkk they mean the sound kakakaka, which is not so dissimilar to hahahaha.
@@galo2099 even better! Thanks for sharing
I most definitely would like to hear the tone and way Gianmarco speaks to the phone bot 😂
Zach Zucker is so hyper and amazing for a 40yr old.. Amazing
He's 40?? Holy shit. He's so hilarious and adorable
@@Jordan-jv1tz i'm literally 26
I would do the patrons in three columns vertically with 60-70 opacity. The vertical crawl is more legible because it moves 3x the speed while the text still being legible
i always look forward to listening to this
Awesome episode, and like always I am obsessed with Gianmarco’s graphic shirts.
zach's energy is so cute i wanna buy him pizza
Heck yes, love Zach Zucker!
I want to see gianmarco and Zach kiss 🥰 in a creepy way 😊
The theater Zach wanted at 52:00 sounds like the old studio 54 club
i saw stamptown because of this episode and was BLOWN away. all my friends that i forced to go loved it too. things do go into peni, you will not be let down
How did that American woman take the French guy's comments as him being sexist, not the society? I understood his comments perfectly...
it's Hilary clinton lol but fk yeah to 'that american woman' honestly
this episode made me understand why people have a fear of clowns
i do feel like there's a difference between a principal and a president which I know doesn't necessarily contradict you guys/gianmarco saying we dont like principals, so why should we like presidents? but I feel like we hm in a perfect world /should/ have a favorable opinion of our president because they're supposed to be a representation of our collective voice. not some dictator deciding what They want to do or what They think is best, which perhaps feels more aligned to the current iteration of US presidents + principals
My brother in christ, put the flossing picks in a different not shitty bag.
Love this podcast. sorry I'm late.
Totality lasted twice as long this eclipse.
guys- get a water floss. it's bigger but infinitely reusable
ok wow this is epic
I love all of you!!!
That dude was asked an open question about clown culture and went on a 12 minute defensive rant for his clown teacher. Nope. Doesn't sound like a cult at all 😅
Especially not when he in one swoop rejected every potential criticism as "they just weren't funny enough"
He sounds a lot like I did, when I was in a cult and hadn't realized it yet.
I found it really incredible that he thinks this couple in France are the funniest humans on the earth and the premiere judge of funny/not funny. Not in a bad way, but just legitimately "wow, that's an incredible thing to believe." I can never put much stock into sentiments that are insistently positive by way off aggressively dismissing all criticism
what a dear sweetheart scallywag he is
Zach Zucker is better hear improvibg then his shows. He might try doing improv in his shows :-)
The erasure of New Orleans and New Orleans clowning in this episode 👎👎
Happy to have on a New Orleans clown someday!!
AI thumbnail?? bruh
What????? Those are pictures of us!
I could’ve actually gone to the NY uncle function if you guys hadn’t posted this the Tuesday AFTER 😡
