I like the contrasting motifs: Old timey landscape/pop music Idyllic setting/cigarettes Bonnets/tattoos Farmhouse/sexy dance scene Madge also hit a lil ballet kick in the video. Imo Madge is breaking free from her traditional/conservative Russian upbringing. Good job.
i agree, but they actually grew up in Utah, and judging from what they've said on instagram it might be more of a commentary on conservative mormon values [not that there aren't mormons in russia? i wouldn't know. probably.]
@notacpu5321 from what I can tell, they're an American with Russian ancestry and got more in touch with their Russian roots after they began working with Anya Kvitka aka Tzar. I don't know much about celebrity's lives but I follow 'em on insta and they seem like really good friends nowadays ☺️
