    Hi,
    When you draw out your pattern are you adding your 1/2 inch seam allowance?
    I made your poncho last week. It turned out great, I love it. Thank you for showing me how in your video.

    What type of material would you recommend with this pattern?

      Hi Charlotte. I selected this light weight knit because I felt it would be the easiest to work with for beginners. Shear fabrics such Chiffon are a little more difficult because the fabric slips and slides around a lot when stitching it together. You could also try a lace fabric.
