Thank you for this lovely video, I have a couple of fabrics just sitting in my stash just waiting for the perfect protect. I'm going to clear my table off and get to it XXX 🥰🥰🥰 (excited!)
Hi, When you draw out your pattern are you adding your 1/2 inch seam allowance? I made your poncho last week. It turned out great, I love it. Thank you for showing me how in your video.
Thank you SO much! the video was so helpful! I was completely lost in making my kimono but these tips were super helpful! btw... the video is so cute ama die!
Hi Charlotte. I selected this light weight knit because I felt it would be the easiest to work with for beginners. Shear fabrics such Chiffon are a little more difficult because the fabric slips and slides around a lot when stitching it together. You could also try a lace fabric. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing.
I made this Kimono using french seams on a chiffon/sheer fabric. Looks awesome! TFS, Sherril!
Love your husband. He's so supportive of you!! Makes me laugh!
This looks like a fun one. I haven't sewn without a pattern before. This looks fairly nonthreatening. Very thorough tutorial, thank you.
I love this video. You have inspired me to try garment sewing. Thank you
I’m excited to try this! I have some pink lace fabric that I would love to use for this. The green one looks beautiful!
