Yosemite FAIL and Sequoia Beauty, How wildfires messed up our trip

Our previous trip got interrupted due to snow in Yosemite. So what happens this time? The National Park was fine except the smoke from the wildfires miles away ruined the scenery.
But let me encourage you to visit that area of California. It's literally some of the nicest California parks. Check out the size of the Giant Sequoia trees (that are at Yosemite and Sequoia Parks.)
For this trip the Sequoia part was clear and green everywhere. Further north though, was a different story. We planned this trip for later spring so that snow wouldn't stop us and that the iconic Glacier Point overlook would be open.
We just didn't plan on wildfires' smoke infiltrating places we wanted to see. And no, our trip wasn't completely messed up but my photos for Yosemite were. (In this video you can see it on the second half.) Yosemite is so beautiful though, don't get the wrong impression by my pics.
Just visit it yourself. The hardy and those not so moveable can see the rock formations, waterfalls, meadows, and yes, the trees.

So beautiful. I was there in 1972 as I hitchhiked from Los Angeles to Vancouver and back. The wildfires are unfortunate but have always happened throughout history; God’s way of clearing out old growth to make way for new.
