I’m only 20 minutes in, but I’m thinking that a fun randomizer in don’t starve would be one that randomized the results of recipes, rather than the ingredients.

I think the only feasible bossfight we can work with here is Celestial Champ. Mostly because I really want to see blender phase champ just chainsaw through a horde of bosses
About the hammer drops. They are determined when the thing is spawned, not every day. Something spawned one day gets a set of drops and keeps them forever. If another instance of the structure spawns later it has different drops, but keeps those forever, too :3
I wish dst creators wouldn't speed/skip through boss fights. To me that is the interesting part to watch. That said, if you had used the bee queen crowns on the ground during fuelweaver, it would have made things a lot easier seeing as how it reverses sanity auras. This would have allowed you to regain sanity just by standing next to the boss. Hope that is helpful.

Ehhh, I'm not big on it randomizing every few minutes. You can't play around that without just hoarding every item you can and hoping for the best. You're pretty much going to be ignoring the recipes and hoping you get good items randomly dropped on you, and then hoping that the bosses either appear wholesale or you get the items to get them, and that their health is low or your damage is increased, rather than you getting one-shot and respawning at an amulet or touchstone which has probably appeared (Or just resetting and losing pretty much nothing since it's all down to pure chance). I'd be more interested in seeing a world with just the recipe randomizer that doesn't reset every day, with the value randomizer added _at most,_ not spawning random stuff constantly, because that's going to take the main focus. It'd be interesting to see how daily life and progression changes when you have to go out of your way to get unorthodox items, rather than literally just waiting to see if you get lucky. (I edited my comment to add some stuff, but it seems to be held for review or something? It returned an error and isn't visible upon refresh. Luckily I had copied it, because I'm not going to remember to edit it tomorrow when it's approved. You can approve this one in its place)
Generally I don't really even allow respawning in my challenges (I'm still stuck in the permadeath era of don't starve) and you know, it wouldn't really be a challenge if I died and just came back where I was :P I definitely wouldn't mind doing a more toned down challenge with JUST the recipe randomizer, that may actually be very fun to see what exactly I could get lucky with and what would be straight up awful!
The lunar guardian would be a much more doable fight as he doesn't heal nor have invulnerability mechanics. He can also be fought over a large area. In short, He's a war of attrition but no one wins attrition over fuelweaver. Crab king is the issue blocking that but I'd still argue he's more doable than fuelweaver.
The problem I found would be doing pearls quests, remember crafting is practically impossible 😭 and im pretty sure her trades are also affected by the randomizer
I considered this a hybrid "can I survive AND beat dst" challenge so revives were off the table, I generally don't allow any revives in my solo challenges anyways for funsies
13:28 dude wtf are you on about this is not modded this is just a pig guard Also needless to say you should have gone for the celestial champion from the start, at least you have a lot of space to fight him to move away from the sheer chaos every time an area gets overcrowded, plus he literally doesn't heal so you can slowly chip away at him along the random mobs without worrying about healing to max
@@polarlotus now that I think about it if you had a mod that switched your character every 5 days or so would probably be even more chaotic, becoming wormwood right as you start a boss and pierogies being your only healing
Random spawns adjusted (mod) did that, part of the challenge. it also is what spawns in random enemies occasionally, its a double edged sword but no I did not spawn anything in manually :)

If you go for celestial champion it should be possible, you aren't locked in a room and there's no healing or invincibility phase
