I remember having a coaching session with Jamie at Lingmere. It was just after he left Maver (so a good while ago.) I remember asking him out of curiosity "if you could have a coaching session with any angler in the country who would it be?" He said Andy Bennett straight away. So he's not lying when he talks about having loads of respect for him. I also had a session with Bagger at Partridge and that was fantastic too. Both absolute class anglers and class people to go with it.

When fishing a match, how come they always seem to have a whole fishing shops worth of rods/pole sections, all laid out on a massive rack. And yet nobody think to save one of those slots in the rack for a suitable sized landing net…..? Most lakes I fish would ask you to leave for using a pathetically small landing net, you guys are supposed to set a good example.
4 - 2 man matches -- then semi final - then final. So jamie goes through to next round. Call it the Capital angling super match lol. Next match Steve Ringer and Lee Kerry. Final is 1.5 hrs on feeder only then last 1.5 hrs on pole.
This should have been made into a much bigger thing than a 45 min video. The best 2 commercial anglers ever, sorry make it a bigger thing , an absolute wasted opportunity.
