Like Sinatra, you do it your way Peter. 😀 Really enjoyed how you shot and edited this adventure. A unique Tokyo experience! Sexy AF is looking and sounding sweet! 🏍👍😎
I dig this one, PVG, the humor was it. Would I enjoy the hotel? Yes. The sound of a train rolling by puts me to sleep and I do like my sleeping area to be pitch black. I would stay there
Eating donuts in bed? Heathen! Good video again PvG, it's obvious to see that your editing skills are getting better as well as your shot compositions.
Only one letter changes the meaning entirely. LOL....at Peter flashing the toilet. Seriously though.....well-made video. Thanks for sharing this experience. :)
Thanks for joining this night at the Under Railway Hotel! Seems the consensus is 50/50 - those who would stay and those who wouldn't! :0) Give it a go! Make memories!
Interesting video even though i’m not a subscriber this channel yet , have to check it out first 🤔👍 Looks great though especially from the view of your bike 👍🏍!!! Actually just subscribed it 👍
Dude, Peter, some of your cutaways and transitions in this are FANTASTIC! Good job, bud. (I know I'm late to the party here, but I never saw this! Somehow, UA-cam made sure it eluded me. 🤨🤔)
Much much better than the live stream video . . . I lived about a mile from a major train route and could hear the diesel locomotives and their horns at all hours day and night. After awhile you didn’t notice. Sort of like the foghorns in San Francisco. Great video. 👍🙀🙀🙀
Dude the bike sounds awesome🦖 I was watching In the car outside the school waiting for my daughter as I’ve got quite a good car the sound of the bike droned right through the car
I found this hotel on my search for hotels near akihabara Station. Luckily you made this thorough video, though it looks very cool and innovative, I'd definitely hate it after a couple hours.
Ok. "Please do not flash anything other than toilet paper." Alright. 8:25 🤣! The anatomically correct giraffes 6:48 🤣! The Japanese Frank Sinatra 0:02 🤣! Room # 5:19 😎! This truly made me laugh. Great video! 👍✔❗
Ahhh...your voice sounds much better redone than the original LIVE but it was more fun RAW for some reason. Maybe your rattling night or your wife's chuckling......IDK. Still LMAO. Cheers
The tank looks so gorgeous that I kept staring! The hotel is in an interesting, stylish place in an convenient and cool location. I just would not want to wake up with a hangover there after a party night. 🍻🍸🥴
If it works out at approximately £33 per night, I'm staying in a best Western in akihabara for £35 per night :p Although a lot of good headphones have active noise cancellation now and so it might be even easier to get a good night sleep.
Thank you for showing a glance of the old sega building 2 in akihabara. I always enjoy your videos Peter 👍🏼✨ & i salute you on trying things & be adventurous than regreting for not trying at all. there was this ramen place in asakusabashi nearby my hotel that i used to walk by everyday & i was always intrigued by it, but never get to try. now it hunts me 😭 hopefully its still open for business on my next trip to tokyo
Hey Peter - thanks for this!! Yes, its weird things like this that makes Japan so attractive. Spot on closing comments, climbing Mt Everest aint exactly relaxing but its yes, its a great experience. So, I would probably stay at the Hotel once ...coz it will give me more conversation time to talk about to my Aussie friends that staying at an APA hotel. ..APA isnt so bad though :)
Nice! Actually, on a sleep app, they have many sounds to help you sleep such as forest, waterfall, etc....and trains. I guess it depends on not the rhythm, but how loud it is.
LOL, you can't call the front desk and complain about the noise. Are there any areas you recommend that are 'quiet'? I have a feeling many areas will be loudish....
I'd probably try it, ...dunno if I'd need room for six, but I've lived right next to train tracks before, and it's not the kind of noise that bothers me. :) (I also like the color scheme in that room. Hotel rooms are often way too bright. :) I did my own room in an olive green and white scheme )
yes I've slept on trains and much easier for me to sleep on trains- I think because it is moving. And the booming sound goes into the structure supporting the train.
Thank you for your fantastic advice on drugs 👍. On one hand I kinda think this is the worst idea ever and that these spaces should be reserved for things like cafes. On the other hand the muffled doki doki, doki doki, overhead kinda grew on me in this video, but I'm also a massive railfan so... Maybe they should go all in on train theming.
5500 yen? For a six person room? How much are the singles? I'll have to consider staying here when I come to Japan. Does this mean sharing the room with five strangers when the hotel is full? ^_^
No you get the rom to yourself! :0) HOWEVER I noticed the rates are higher now- just a week after I stayed there. I think it was low season? But the price increases nominally for more bodies in the room
Ummm, this is NOT white noise. I LOVE white noise. I used to live in West Virginia along the Shenandoah River and my house was just next to a dam with a constant rush of water. That is white noise! And I slept like a baby! ;0)
Didn’t Brad Pitt and his wife live in a similar apartment in the movie Seven? That didn’t turn out that well. Bizarre Tokyo is a good angle for your channel.

Lmao, love the flashing the toilet paper. That made me laugh so hard. Keep up the good job love the video.
jeez, I'm glad someone got the joke! :0)
You’re a cool dude, I enjoy the content. Glad you’re back to UA-cam, keep it up friend!
This was a thunderous experience! Thanks for taking us along, Peter!
Thanks for joining this night at the Under Railway Hotel! Seems the consensus is 50/50 - those who would stay and those who wouldn't! :0) Give it a go! Make memories!
8:06 "But thank you for asking!" 🤣
That train noise doesn’t really bother me. I would love to support them anyway I can.....thanks Peter for showing this cool place
Sure! Yeah I imagine some deep sleepers wouldn't mind the noise. :0)
Jake: "How often does the train go by?"
Elwood: "So often you don't even notice it."
Yes, glad someone wrote this.
Great episode man!!! Perfect frames!!!
I was thinking I seen this vid!!!!
But wait this is the sleek editied one!!!
Love the music sounded great on my surrounds Peter!!! 👌🤙
Interesting video even though i’m not a subscriber this channel yet , have to check it out first 🤔👍 Looks great though especially from the view of your bike 👍🏍!!! Actually just subscribed it 👍
This was the best video I've watched in a while, loved it Peter! Keep it up :)
You can't get any better review than this. Hilarious! Cool vid looking for more videos like this. Keep up the great work Peter.
Cool video! great location!
Hilarious video. Classic!
Super cool topic, concept and review 👌🏻
Dude, Peter, some of your cutaways and transitions in this are FANTASTIC! Good job, bud. (I know I'm late to the party here, but I never saw this! Somehow, UA-cam made sure it eluded me. 🤨🤔)
Thank you! Revisiting this one myself! :0)
Cool bike! Great video... Pls do more interesting places to stay in Tokyo videos like this. Love your videos!
😂 PvG, I loved all of your jokes in this video! Precious content! 😂

No poems today, just a thank you for an entertaining video with great editing, music and humor. News "flash"...007 is anatomically correct!
Dude the bike sounds awesome🦖 I was watching In the car outside the school waiting for my daughter as I’ve got quite a good car the sound of the bike droned right through the car
Good to know Chris! 😅 Imagine my neighbors are so pleased. But yeah phew it’s a great sound! I’m editing the full reveal of the bike now...
That donut 🍩 shops name is just to funny. Jack in the donuts 🍩. That gives new meaning to Boston cream. Lol 😂
right!? I edited out my comment about that in the vid. The signature donut I was enjoying ... :0)
Staying here in exactly a month! Thanks PVG for the info!
Let us know your experience afterwards!!
Your content always takes me on a unique trip, one of its kind vibe that I'm really liking! Keep it up! :P
I found this hotel on my search for hotels near akihabara Station. Luckily you made this thorough video, though it looks very cool and innovative, I'd definitely hate it after a couple hours.
Love the bike ride , well that and coffee and beer and ice cream ...
Good to see your bike, that hotel room reminded me of Elwood Blues apartment in the Blues Brothers.
HA! Yeah right!!?
Aloha 🤙from Honolulu. Great 👍 music 🎶 You gotta ▶️ this song more often while you're riding Peter
Thanks! Yeah I like that tune too- matches well with the bike sounds and cruisin the streets of Tokyo
Thanks for sharing. The hotel may be suitable for the budget tourist like me. Hope Japan will open its borders for all travelers real soon.
Ok. "Please do not flash anything other than toilet paper." Alright. 8:25 🤣! The anatomically correct giraffes 6:48 🤣! The Japanese Frank Sinatra 0:02 🤣! Room # 5:19 😎! This truly made me laugh. Great video! 👍✔❗
That doughnut really made a concert in my stomach instantly
Ahhh...your voice sounds much better redone than the original LIVE but it was more fun RAW for some reason. Maybe your rattling night or your wife's chuckling......IDK. Still LMAO. Cheers
This video is so hilarious! 😂 Love humorously and informative videos as always! 👍👏💖
The tank looks so gorgeous that I kept staring! The hotel is in an interesting, stylish place in an convenient and cool location. I just would not want to wake up with a hangover there after a party night. 🍻🍸🥴
Thanks Brian! Working on the full video of the bike now. Stay um... tuned! Yeah hangover there would NOT be pretty!
My grandmother's house near the railway. Sounds like when in my grandma's house. I really miss that house ...
If it works out at approximately £33 per night, I'm staying in a best Western in akihabara for £35 per night :p

Thanks Nelson! Yes, always make time for something you are curious about! At least once! :0)
Quote " I don't need that..." 😝😝😝 BWAHAHAHA
Great video, but I think I'll stick with my regular hotel when I'm in Tokyo 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Peter - thanks for this!!
Yes, its weird things like this that makes Japan so attractive. Spot on closing comments, climbing Mt Everest aint exactly relaxing but its yes, its a great experience. So, I would probably stay at the Hotel once ...coz it will give me more conversation time to talk about to my Aussie friends that staying at an APA hotel.
..APA isnt so bad though :)
Exactly! It's about the experience. An adventure wouldn't be an adventure if everything is planned and laid out for you.
Nice! Actually, on a sleep app, they have many sounds to help you sleep such as forest, waterfall, etc....and trains. I guess it depends on not the rhythm, but how loud it is.
Purrrfect place to go play games, get a craft beer, NOT sleep well and have a donut and a smoke in the morning! 😂
Ha! YES!!
LOL, you can't call the front desk and complain about the noise. Are there any areas you recommend that are 'quiet'? I have a feeling many areas will be loudish....

I had train cleaners in osaka clayton hotel....around 2am then the hankyu line kedeng kedeng kedeng~☆
Hey Peter since John is such a train enthusiasts maybe he might like to try it 👍
Toilet paper flashing got me good
Happy to hear! I still lol when I see it!
Maybe you can imagine you’re in a sleeper car on a journey somewhere. Damn that doughnut looked awesome.
Oooooh it WAS! 🤤
great idea to check this place out, thanks! a question tho: is it harder to sleep in that room than on a train (couchette )?
yes I've slept on trains and much easier for me to sleep on trains- I think because it is moving. And the booming sound goes into the structure supporting the train.
Peter I sure would not be able sleep through that racket
That Hotel be good for hearing impaired people like me thanks for showing Peter
YES! I thought the same! 😊
Interesting idea! Yeah there is no nod to 'trains' in this hotel at all.
Double room for 2 person here costs 19.000 yen. (2023)
Nah, I'll pass
You have me in tears! I get into the tour and then you make d*ck jokes. lol
この方PS2のデュエルマスターズのナレーションの人だ、すげぇ。
Peter...would you know...the nightly rate you were charged...is it much lower than 'typical' because of COVID or is that the 'normal' rate?
it's an unusually low rate. I think low season and covid are related.
I would not mind I wake up every 3-4 hours anyway.
I would love to stay there!
Dozo!!
How much does the Motorcycle Parking cost you Peter ?
Thanks Marc! That spot is a little pricey. I think 200yen per hour. Akihabara is the most expensive parking I’ve found
The noise might actually help me relax. lol. But it does stop after midnight
Hilarious 😂
8:25 No one tell me not to show my pee pee to strangers!
nice bike sir
thanks!
I was there yesterday 😂
Just say no, but thank you for asking haha!

oh know i booked it for family there are teenagers i do not think they will be able to deal with the train noise
Lol
It's a pity you don't like white noise. I would of slept like a baby.☺️
Ummm, this is NOT white noise. I LOVE white noise. I used to live in West Virginia along the Shenandoah River and my house was just next to a dam with a constant rush of water. That is white noise! And I slept like a baby! ;0)
Just use ear defenders huge space and cheap
Didn’t Brad Pitt and his wife live in a similar apartment in the movie Seven? That didn’t turn out that well. Bizarre Tokyo is a good angle for your channel.
#ClearlyNotSponsored!
Next time: drink a lot before going there, you shouldn’t wake up so easily after a few drinks
I’ll pass on the hotel.😁
These videos are really unwatchable, there’s so much unnecessary editing. Every 2 seconds a jumpcut, like wtf?
Duly noted. Add more jump cuts!! Cheers!
