Joe still believes in magical Boogey germs flying around trying to get him. Think harder bro. Your wife still hasn’t “caught” your aids after 65 years.
Who’s complaining about this podcast? This is the most enjoyable podcast of the week to me. I never switch to another podcast halfway through Tuesdays, like I do with others ❤
When I get in depressive/anxious slumps I’ll go back and binge these old eps while I get my ass back on track. It’s become the sound track to getting me out of the dark. Thanks yall
And "watershed moment" is an analogy of weather systems. A watershed is usually something like a mountain, where water will come down on one side or the other due to gravity. Additionally air pressure effects come into play. A passing storm will either get caught in the valley, or depending on wind currents pass over to the other side of the valley. It's very hard to predict and so the analogy is that it can go either way with roughly equal probability. The other part of the analogy is that the future outcomes of everything that happens, the timeline, will be very different if it goes one way or the other.
Congrats Joe and Sara! You make the cutest parents, and your son is so lucky. I had a baby both when I was young and after I was older, and I know maturity, experience, and better finances meant I was a lot better at raising a baby and child when I was older. Enjoy it as much as you can because looking back now, my children’s childhoods were over far too fast for me. The love you feel now will only grow., but I wish I could relive that time now. Congratulations!
My wife had our girls late in our relationship. I'm 51 & our twin girls are now just over 3 years old. Speaking on the male perspective only, at about 12 months old you will start to really feel love for your child. By 18 months you will die for them. I was just like everyone else w/o kids, knowing of the ultimate 'joy' parenthood supposedly brings and even comparing it to the deep love of a family pet. Once you hit that 1st 12 month mark you start to realize that everything you ever heard about those joys of parenthood is true. Ray Liotta has a brilliant line from Black Bird that best sums this up: " ...they never tell you that sometimes your kid is the love of your life."
Hey man, I mean absolutely no disrespect by this and have always wanted to ask this as a young guy myself, I’m 23 and wanted to hear and real grown ups perspective on this, do you have any concern about you kids growing up with older parents ? Like you said your girls are only 3 and by the time they are in high school you’ll be in your 60s ? And mid 60s by college, again I’m just curious as to what your outlook is on having kids later in life.
100% and it sucks to because it's not like some flaw that can be fixed. The only thing I can think to do is stay as healthy as I can & as modern as possible. @@MultiBluedog123
I am NOT mad at you guys for releasing back dated episodes HOWEVER it is nice to feel like we are hanging out type vibe on our weeks together rather than feeling like we are left out of the loop on old information... either way I am here and enjoy this shit lol but for some "insider baseball" as consumers that is my answer for your question JOE! hahaha love ya gays!
I think we had the same doctor even though I live in Iowa When the labor started this woman was like a maestro, super impressive, made the whole experience great for my wife Congratulations
"One glove like Michael Jackson....O.J..." Fuck that was great, I'm still laughing my ass off and my two kids are looking a me like I'm a lunatic (which I am).
Wait. Do you mean to tell me...that these stories...are EVENTS FROM THE PAST?! THat's it!! I'm not paying another dollar for this free publication that I don't actually pay for. Goddamnit. Three weeks old? COMEDY
@5:00 I used to put my hand over my kid's eyes, but, like, the Spock "live long & prosper" hands, just to let them know "I don't approve of this, but go ahead". I'd also say "c'mon, guys, get a room!" during sex scenes. I figured it's better to make light of it instead of being awkward and embarrassed. There's enough of that waiting out there in life.
One day Buckwheat is sitting in class and he has to go to the bathroom. He raises his hand and says “excuse me Miss Bliss, I have to use the restroom.” The teacher replies “ok Buckwheat, you can go to the bathroom if you can use dictate in a sentence.” Buckwheat says “Ok” “Hey Darla, how my dictate?”
Classic. I remember hearing this joke in the 80s from Eddie Murphy's Buckwheat impression. But I remember thinking (and still do), "was this a joke BEFORE that impression? Like, in the 50s? Did my dad rock this joke in grade school?!". But I ain't asking him, it would be awkward.
Podcasts are more intriguing when they’re relatively recent. It makes the listener feel more “apart of the conversation” in real time. Like talking about being on the sidelines of the Washington football game, if that happened on Saturday and you talk about the big game experience on Tuesday, it feels more relatable to listeners. People don’t care as much 3 weeks later.
In Wisconsin, the first recorded demise was a guy who crashed his motorcycle. The news aired it as covid, and the family came out and had to defend themselves against the media.
"Never meet your heros!" Yet I never got to meet Joe List.... Chuck is sick and Mark isn't? Sounds like an episode of 2 and 1/2 men! Chuck, get well soon! Mark, stay well!
to answer the question @47:46 .....its not UPSETTING to me at least and I'll speak for some others here but it is preferable for us to listen to episodes that were recorded the week its aired because we follow you and want to hear your thoughts on things that happened recently. Like if we all know Skankfest just happened and we want to hear your guys' take on it, its a bit of a bummer to have to wait 3 weeks to hear about it. Not a big deal to me but in honesty, its preferable and more enjoyable.
Joe questioning whether “spectate” is a word goes to show the glasses are a lie.
He wears them because when he takes them off he looms like Kyle's cousin from south park
He’s got mom brain
Joe still believes in magical Boogey germs flying around trying to get him. Think harder bro. Your wife still hasn’t “caught” your aids after 65 years.
He pretends he's dumber than he is
I often question if English is his first language
I love how Mark swooped on Joe’s spots at the stand
Thanks for stocking up on pod eps as to not leave us dry
Why did I lose it when Mark threw the cup behind him 😂🤣

But riddled with Covid lol
They made a movie like that... it was called The Hangover 😂
That's a good idea 😭
That’s gold Jerry!
Love that!
Telling joe to go doggie style like Washington on the Delaware 😂😂😂 that got me good 👍 ❤

Watching this for the first time while in bed sick with covid
Bubble come @15:17 should have been the episode title lol, congrats Joe!
That live ep was solid. I was sitting next to the bushwhacker dudes with the tank tops. Definitely killed
"What's a curable disease....?" "Cancer." Brilliant.
peeve, joe man spreading on every ep
Joe sits like his wife in labor!
Man Mark was on fire this ep
mark you and doug killed it in Providence! Great show and thank you!
It’s way too expensive for to be a fan of live comedy. Unfortunate because it’s the best kind of comedy.
"I saw someone get a booster the other day, that helps" genius!😂
Congrats joe. Can’t imagine what that baby will go through. 🎉
A fine snatch is what it will go through
mark says "kuwait a minute" a little over 4 minutes into tws episode 441 😂
THE LISTS ARE COMING TO NYC!!! HELLO, FOLKS!
You’re doing it to yourself, Joe. The mind body connection.
"One glove like Michael Jackson....O.J..." Fuck that was great, I'm still laughing my ass off and my two kids are looking a me like I'm a lunatic (which I am).
Pretty sure my father still prefers the company of men 🤷♂️

This is old for even for Tuesday's 😂
Joe you should definitely come back to this episode after a couple years. All that shit is true once you have a kid. It's truly awful haha
I was at the live show at the gramercy. It was hilarious and I had a great time
"Some lady, or person..." 😄

My grandma has pancake sized areola.
That's where they got the term "flapjacks". From your grandma.
Crazy coming back to see the covid insanity. Joe’s boosted and still getting covid😂
Great EP as usual
Joe says he knows things, then cut to not knowing about spectate being a word😂😂😂
Best pod on the tubes !!

Happy Tuesday.
A dove-tail is a way of jointing wood together, which you'd know if your dad wasn't gay.
Jointing? Good one
To bring the funny every single episode is seriously impressive. But I’m gay, so what do I know? (Not gay)
Im seeing Mark in april, whatd you think of Knoxville?
I saw him in July at a 200 seat club, 2 days before his latest special released. Sat 3rd row. He was hilarious!!!
Dove tail is a wood working term and a water shed is land around a reservoir.
man why does this have to come out at the same time as kill tony ahhh...but congrats on the baby from the present!!
In hindsight, this wins. The High Weasel and shitty bucket picks kinda ruined it. Cept for Cam and William of course, and maybe that lil fella.
Why is there nothing on the Patreon other than what’s already on UA-cam ?
The live show was fun
"Comedy!!" Thanks guys
Mark, you gotta see the baby.Comedy. (Seinfeld)
I wonder how many coffee cups is behind Mark's chair now 🤣😂
