this song resonated with me so much and the lyrics were so powerful that it got stuck in my head, so I just had to use it for ciri & cahir because ‘change is in the air’ for these two!!
their scene was everything and more, Freya and Eamon were simply amazing. I think 3x06 was definitely my favourite episode of the season! I’ll admit that S3 hasn’t been the greatest for me, I think 1-2 were stronger but it was still entertaining enough. This being said, will I check into s4? Yes, but only for these two at this point. I hope everyone enjoys the video!

I didnt realize this was a ship vid when I clicked and until I saw your comment. But to answer your question the age gap is is the issue. She in the timeline is supposed to be 13/14yrs old and that is 30 something year old man.

I know of the age gap, and yes Ciri is a minor (the actress in real life is 20-21) and cahir in the books is meant to be no older then 18-20, I’m not trying to justify it. But I am trying to give as much fact as possible.
@@PowerToolsofJustice The actor who plays Cahir in the series is much older than his character in the books. In the books, Cahir was a young man. Of course, he was older than Ciri, but obviously not by 15-20 years. It seems to me that the age difference between Cahir and Ciri was no more than 10 years.
Because they are direct opposites from what we have seen in books?

The only good/intriguing thing for me in S3 pt2 was these two and their scene. I’m so crushed Henry is leaving, and I felt like this season overall wasn’t as incredible.
Nonetheless, you’ve edited such an art piece. And I LOVE this song. I think it captures the mystery and enchantment of both characters so well. Gorgeous

It started almost game-like and now I just get a little sad. I hope for these two season 4 happens but I know a lot of people are pretending the show ends here.
@@ItsJessEdits yeah, tbh I love yenralt but I wasn’t inspired this season by them, so I doubt I’ll be making any vids on them 🤧. S4-5 are happening, Netflix has commissioned it and that apparently they’ll film these 2 seasons back to back and then it’s wrapped up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. With these strikes tho they can’t start filming yet 😮💨. So it’ll be a long wait I reckon.
Honestly, the writing is SO poor. Cahir diserved SO MUCH BETTER than what happened in these scenes in the tv show... I love these characters, but really... This show didn't give them any justice...
@@shanz7758idk none of this makes sense to me. I mean even the original comment here says season three isn’t as fantastic, which isn’t bad writing. Plus it’s like halfway through the overall story. And Henry Cavill is least like the original character and wanted it to be more like the game as far as I can tell. I mean I thought he was great in the role still, I just never follow the logic of saying HE deserved better suggesting he was true to the source material unlike the show. When that’s just demonstrably false.

In the books they fall in love with each other and that was the only thing i held onto once geralt was replaced. Ciri and cahir story

This will be a real spoiler. In the book, only Cahir falls in love. Ciri is afraid of Cahir. During the siege of Cintra, she was just a little girl and a knight in black armor scared her very much. And after that, Ciri constantly saw nightmares in which he haunts her. Cahir tries to find Ciri and bring her to Nilfgard. But Ciri eludes him every time. When Ciri disappears, Cahir joins Geralt in her search and confesses to him that he loves Ciri. But when Cahir manages to find Ciri, he dies trying to protect her from Leo Bonhart.
It's one-sided in the books, Cahir was in love with her. Ciri in the books in the final book ends up in 'our world' traveling with Galahad to meet King Arthur after telling her story to him. You can assume maybe she and Galahad could've grown closer and etc.
So... That's why they aged up Ciri so suddenly. So this could work😂
I think they should’ve just aged Cahir down to his teens like in the books

Always brings tear to see how much they ruined that gigachad Cahir was in books and replaced him with this caricature (even more sad thing is that actor tries, but can't work with that script)
He’s very multilayered in the show it’s just people don’t see past their stereotypes I’m afraid. I get that he’s different than in the books so it’s frustrated for some. But also hes not even in the books that much so I’m confused why people say he and other characters are changed so much when their behavior doesn’t even contradict parts of the books they’re in.
In this, and a few other cases, though, he also seems conflated with other characters. Which isn’t bad. I am also a bit puzzled as to why you refer to him as a gigachad in the books but then say he is a caricature in the show lol. A gigachad is not a nuanced description of a character
