Dry skin woman here…it’s not always a good time! 😆 sometimes we have to knock the shine down or set things anyway and then we have to worry about looking crusty and cakey

I had very oily skin as a teenager and all the way into my thirties. Once I hit 40, the oiliness gradually diminished. Now at 50, it tends to be more on the dry side. I love your videos and thanks for sharing LYS. I have had my eye on this brand and now I know!

You HAVE to give the concealer another try! What helped me is that I left it to sit for a bit then I blended it and I LOVE IT ! ♥️
I received the LYS foundation as a Sephora sample and as a dry skinned gal, I LOVED IT and will be buying a full size. So natural and yes definitely light coverage. I did not set it but it did not transfer. However it DID oxide almost a shade and a half! I would definitely recommend this foundation for dry skin!! Just go a shade lighter than usual.
lys cream blushes are amazing they're not super dewy they are more like natural matte but in a cream and shade range is amazing I want the burnt terracotta shade
LYS is my new favorite line. I love the foundation but I have the dry version of rosacea and it is the only thing that makes me feel flawless these days

Yes to this! I have normal leaning to dry skin and at 43 I have more fine lines than my Mother at that age who has oily skin. She will be 64 Saturday and you would never know it.
I love the liquid highlighter under like my tinted moisturizer for a fantastic glow. I'm obsessed with it!

Casey I am so glad you are back I have been obsessed with all the recent uploads! ❤You are my favorite UA-camr of all time! & to answer your question about dry skin it isn't great at all. I barely use powder bc my skin is so dry and I wish I had oily skin. I feel like there are more options to combat the oils rather than dry patches. 😭

Beautiful! Just wanted to clarify; the name of the highlighter line is Aim High and the shade looks like it's Brave which is a champagne. They also have Genuine which is a rose gold and fearless that's a bronze. Hope that helps everyone! Love you Casey 💗 You look stunning mama!

I did a full face of l y s just the other day also so it's very random that I came across your video within the same week. But I was excited because I ran into my mother that day and she told me that she liked my makeup and she never comments on my makeup, from the base makeup to everything else I had on my face she said went very well together and looks Flawless. So I live by the lys Foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, and the finishing powder is absolutely stunning and so is the highlighter.

You should definitely try the LYS blush! Its a matte cream and I think one of their best products. I thought the foundation was just okay. The look came out bomb!

So my under eyes have been dryer than I’m used to, so I’m learning what products to use and how to use them so my under eyes don’t crease under my makeup 🤍🤍

I have the Makeup by Mario Master Mattes eyeshadow palette from the Sephora Sale, and I love it for all of the different shades and blends like a dream, and then I pop on a highlighter, or shimmery shadow on the lids like you did, because there's nothing more beautiful than a shimmery lid! I'm afraid to use black eyeshadow, but this look you created is SO pretty!

It’s terrible to have dry skin because when you put makeup on it shows every single line on your face. You really have to prep you skin very good. Then some foundation look like they are sitting on top of your skin instead of sinking in. I wish I had some oil to my skin!!!! I guess it boils down to we all want something we don’t have. Your makeup always looks so beautiful, but you are naturally very pretty anyway. Thanks for reviewing so much makeup for us. It really means a lot. Especially your honesty!!!!!♥️💕🤗😘
I have the same problem with my oily skin and serum foundations but I love the Rose Inc tinted serum! It's beautiful on my skin. Light coverage so it's probably not something you'd be that interested in but it's the only serum that has worked for my oily skin
I have dry skin and I absolutely hate it, I actually get a little giddy if I see just a drop of oil being produced on my face.
Girl let me tell you, I’ve been following you since you like 2014 or some shit like that, I’m not joking I watched your first videos and was your first 1,000 follower. I was like omg she doesn’t even have dry skin like me but I love every single makeup product that you have suggested. I have dry skin and I’m the winter I have dry patches where foundation or blush/ powder DOES NOT EVEN GO ON MY SKIN 😂 I have a whole drawer full of face moisturizer… I’m honestly jealous of your naturally glowing skin. 😭 thanks for being awesome. Hey Casey! I have oily skin, and I had a pretty good experience with the LYS foundation. Do you happen to have the Urban Decay All Nighter Waterproof Setting Powder (the pressed on in the silver packaging)? If so, it is A1 for setting your face and keeping everything in place. It’s been my go-to as a setting powder and also for touchups. Maybe try that on top of the foundation to see if it helps tone down the glow. Great review as always!
I had oily skin all of my teenage years and most of my 20s. At around 28/29 my skin is dry. Dry skin isn't any more fun and I don't try enough products to find what works for me. I find that most foundations make me feel drier. If anyone knows of a great hydrating/moisturizing foundation that also has a beautiful, skin-like finish - drop a reply 😁
Since I had to set my foundation so much with powder I just went ahead and switched to wearing concealer and powder foundation only. My oils still break through by the end of the day (that’s what I use bloating sheets for) but I don’t have that sticky liquid foundation feeling anymore.
I feel the same way about the glowy/ dewy makeup… it’s pretty, but hard to make it work with an oily skin-type.
They have cream blushes that are nice 👍 I didn’t like the foundation over my milk makeup primer it separated and came off almost right away, may try over another primer tho. Your makeup looks so good❤️

I just started self tanning again and I forgot how much I loved it!! You’re tan is on point! I love self tanner so much!
What brand do you like, and does it have a smell? I want to be more of a self tanner, because I always feel more confident and just better overall with a self tan, but I find it so annoying to keep up with, and I can't take the smell (I use the Jergens Natural, but it still smells).

Dry skin and finding the right foundation has been quite a task honestly
I have VERY dry skin. I apply moisturizer prior to my makeup. Hours later I look as if the life is drained out of me; esp my under eye area. It & my face are often cracked like the Sierra dessert. I remedy this issue using Nyx's hydrating oil primer. I apply a few drops on the back of my hand & dab a damp beauty sponge thru it, & then apply to my dry areas. It's an instant lift to my dry lifeless makeup. Having dry skin makes you look older than what you actually are.
Love these type of videos. I miss my oily skin. I think oily skin can look more youthful. My skin is dry and have to be careful especially with my under eyes.

Having dry skin really sucks lol I’d love to be able to set my foundation or at least undereyes
Let me say that in the past two years-for whatever reason-my skin has turned quite dry for my super oily self during the winter months. An absolute shock for me, let me assure you! I am still my oily monster self during warmer months in the south, but let January come around, and my skin becomes a whole other beast. While I have always known the struggle of the super oily chick, this recent situation of very (for me anyway) dry skin has been quite the struggle. I feel for my dry skin and oily skin beauties. Normal beauties without a care in the world, I envy you!

I saw a video last week and I thought of you because it was a type of color corrector / concealer type of product that Make Up by Cheryl did or used for some redness that she had. That's why I thought of you. It was last week I do not know the name of the product but try to catch some of her videos from last week the end of last week and or reach out to her because it worked!!!!! I've been meaning to get the makeup by Mario neutral eye palette, and lip products, eye liner in brown 🤎. Take Care 💞💐
