I’ve learned more from your videos than any other channel on UA-cam by far. I love your enthusiasm for the sport of fishing. It truly is second to none!

To me, that is the pure essence of fishing, playing the fish in. That is the total sum of it all. Big fish, or small, I never winch a fish in, I play it in. The memory of a fishing trip is always the fight of a fish, any fish. I get almost as much pleasure,....almost, watching you play a fish to the boat. Be it bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill, or shiner, it just does not get any better. As Elmo says " Go fishing when you can, cause it`s good for yu!"

That largemouth at 16:00 would be the fish of a lifetime where I live.
I hope you keep fishing shiners under the dam you’re bound to hook into a giant flathead sooner or later!

Thats a good tip for people when using live bait notice how he reels down to the fish before setting the hook, very important. Superb video richard, outstanding! Good video, nobody can convence me that there is any better way of producing a big Bass bite, than to use live bait ! The biggest most healthy fish that I have caught thus far has been caught in a live Blue gill. I would rather spend a few $'s on a can of worms to catch some hand size Bluegill for bait than to spend $100's on lures. Nice Fishing buddy .
