This interview is so much better than television interviews. Well done, ladies, both of you. Britta, you allowed Camille to relax and be herself. Particularly good job!! You obviously have the skills to conduct an informative interview without the awkwardness of the staged productions we’ve all seen on free-to-air or cable television. This is so refreshing to see accomplished young women talk about their experiences in horsemanship. What a good start to what may be a new career!🏆
Oh wow! Thank you for saying that! It was funny because right before rolling the camera, we were talking about how we both feel so awkward on camera!😂 but that means a lot to me! I really hope to be doing more interviews like this in the future! It's definitely a skill to work on - it's tough being present in the moment to be a good listener and yet have the presence of mind to guide the conversation!
Camille was the first mustang trainer I watched on YT. I even took a couple of her first online classes. She was a huge inspiration for me as far as looking at more modern horsemanship. I learned a lot.
Your exactly right about bringing baby along to your horses. I called at the stables on my way back from hospital and would take baby to do my horse every day until he went to school! 😊
Camille was a HUGE inspiration for me when I did my first TIP Challenge (and first wild horse) while having had my kiddo only a few months before. SUCH a blessing to have a wonderful trainer, and mother, to be an inspiration!
She is such an inspiration for woman! There definitely is a content gap in that niche so it was so nice to see her talking about it (all while knocking it out of the park with her performance at the makeover!😂)
CAMILLE IS AN AMAZINGLY FUN YOUNG ACCOMPLISHED HORSEWOMEN!!. ANY HORSE WOULD BE LUCKY TO HAVE HER IN THE SADDLE. BEING A MOM MAKERS HER SHINE EVEN MORE. SHE'S ALWAYS LOOKING FOR THE GOOD IN EACH HORSE.I HAVE BEEN WATCHING HER FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND ALWAYS ROOTING FOR HER AND HER CUTE MUSTANGS. SO GLAD YOU GOT TO MEET HER AND NO BETTER PLACE TO BE THAN FORT WORTH TEXAS. HAVE A SAFE TRIP HOME. Susan
Also awesome... Your video spoofing auction types while at the Ft. Worth Arena with Brita bidding 35K for Camille's horse! 😆 The "Thank you for your service" for the Border Patrol bidder totally nailed the cliche of hyping the audience about public service to generate applause. Classic! You're truly an astute observer of individuals and crowds, and that part in particular cracked me up enough for a couple of replays. 👍😄
Great video Britta! Thank you for taking us along on this trip, love following your channel ❤ 17:14 It was great to learn more about Camilles journey as well 😍 you are both awesome!
Camille is the reason I was able to adopt a mustang and believe I could do it. Her hour long mustang youtube training videos showing the whole gentling and training process was extremely valuable learning that even big name trainers had never shown. I didn't grow up in a horse family either. Camille is literally an inspiration
Awesome insider view of Camille's path. And who would have guessed the shy kid would grow up to be an outgoing, fun and energetic interviewer?! Horses aside for a moment... That alone should be an inspiration for anyone who's doubted themselves and their potential, which is pretty much most of us at one point or another. Home run, Brita!
haha Thank you! I really stretched myself that weekend.😅 Despite being on UA-cam, I find it intimidating going up to someone I recognize from online 😂And doing interviews was also a stretch! It's tough being present in the moment and actually listening, while meanwhile having the clarity of mind to continue to guide the conversation. It's tempting to be thinking about the next question to ask without truly listening to what the interviewee is actually saying. Definitely a skill I want to continue to grow in!
I super enjoyed when you interviewed Camille. I knew I would. She’s amazing and it’s a dream to have a mustang that she has trained ! So many of us look up to her and it was nice to hear her back story also ! ❤️🐴❤️
Great interview, Britta, and the editing/production are pretty great as well. Amazing and inspiring to hear neither of you grew up w/horses, and I felt the same as Camille about dogs, that there's nothing for me to do w/the "perfect". Nice to see your meetups at events w/other mustang ppl, also to see your channel grow.🪴

Great interview. I love hearing her talk about her reservations as she was coming up in the horse training world and how she just went for it.
Right?! Same here!
