I'm just a casual listener of Le sserafim but it breaks my heart to see all the hate, harassment and bullying they're receiving. I'm thankful that Yunjin was able to create this song as a reminder for us that idols are humans too just like us. We demand them to such high standards that I'm pretty sure we can't even achieve ourselves. The pressure that they have to go through to become perfect singers, perfect dancers, perfect rappers, perfect performers with perfect personalities, flawless beauty just so as to be worthy to be called "idols". It's so easy for us to bully/hate/harass them online while we conveniently hide behind "anonymity" yet act surprised/worried when idols take hiatus or worse, commit sui**de. We pick and choose their imperfections then crucify them like they just committed such a heinous crime. The constant pressure for them to bring revenue to their companies, the struggle to have creative freedom over their crafts, the limitation to express their thoughts and opinions so as not to offend others, the sacrifices just to maintain their body image, the endurance to keep smiling despite all the hate & criticisms, going through all that but also trying not to lose themselves in the process. I just hope we be kinder and more empathetic to all idols, especially female idols. Idols are not our dolls. We don't get to demand or even tell them what they can or cannot do. We don't own them.
To Le sserafim, I hope you all feel the love of the real people around you. You all can overcome this. I hope you can learn and improve at your own pace. All of you are unique and special. You are all amazing and I look forward to seeing more music & performances from you. I'll keep cheering on you girls!

I was SO shocked during the entire song. She stood up for the whole industry, it's just incredible. This needs much more attention. It was so brave of her and I'm glad the company allowed her to release this because it has the potential to change the k-pop industry forever.

Wow, Yunjin has really amazed me. Expressing how she feels and how tough idol life is through a song, composed by herself and artwork done by herself, I don't think I have ever seen an idol like this. It shows that she's truly dedicated to making music, she's so amazing. Yunjin is truly a star.
You also have to remember that not all idols have creative freedom like Yunjin was given here, but I completely agree w you. Yunjin is an amazing idol and admirable person.

Brand new fan here. Unforgiven made me take notice Le Sserafim, but Yunjin and her songwriting and her personality and everything about her might actually make me stan them. Le Sserafim is really THAT hardworking, passionate, and charismatic group. The best performers during award shows from concept to choreography, always coming up with something original and creative. A female idol finally speaking out? YES! In all my years of being a Kpop stan, this is exactly what I've been waiting for. I'm just really really happy to see this. Completely raw emotions and the truth- not sugarcoated words along with the braveness to speak out not being afraid of backlash from a misogynistic community. This is perfection. A 4th gen idol speaking out on the hardships of being an idol with raw emotions and not a fake cheeriness or feigning a state of being fine. Yes. We're slowly but eventually getting to the point where fans learn that idols are humans with emotions too, not dolls. Thank you for this, Yunjin. This was much needed.
