Heyyy loved the vlog, everything is so cute 🥰 I'm from Finland and the gnomes are an essential thing in modern Christmas celebrations here and probably the whole Nordic region overall. The gnomes are basically Santa's elves but they look less elf-like and more like dwarfs. Also they're not always men. Here it's common for kids to dress up as gnomes (or tonttu as we call them) usually without the beards and stuff, they usually wear red and a pointy hat. This is just what it's like here, I'm definitely not aware of the whole history or lore of gnomes here in Finland (nor the Nordics in general) but this is how they appear in everyday life during Christmas time where I'm from 🎅 If you search up 'Nisse' in wikipedia you'll probably get more of an idea of the history :)

Could you do a blog or a q&a someday about how you came to be a toy designer? It sounds like a really fun job!
You're the second person to ask this! Honestly I feel like I fell into it with some luck and good timing so I don't know if it's helpful to make a video about it 😅although I was intentional about applying to toy designer positions, Q&A format would definitely help guide me on what's helpful to talk about!

Would baby oil or Vitamin E oil be okay as a liquid?
Hi Janet! ☺ I know others have used baby oil in snow globes generally but I'm not sure if they have used it with polymer clay figures, either way I know baby oil/glycerin can get a little messy, I suggest water alone over baby oil!
