I love Megan's podcast arc of just being background production to basically the host of the show. She really steers the ship in a great entertaining direction.
She's like the viewer perspective on the podcast right now because she wasn't working on the show yet, so its great for her to ask the questions we viewers want to ask
I love how freeform the show was for the first few dozen episodes, sometimes the guys would only spend 10 minutes or less talking about that weeks episode, and then, Megan - also representing fans of the show - swooped in and structured it up. Also a fellow frizzed hair haver, I loved seeing and hearing her embrace her natural curls!
So great. It seems correct that podcast episode about the episode with most of my favorite lines of the show also has one of my favorite lines in the podcast.
One of the funniest moments in the episode is Frank walking into the bar, cocking his gun and saying “WHERES THE FIRE???” Like what was the gun supposed to do 😂😂😂

She's not just a fan though. She was an award winning professional writer before working on Sunny. Studios are right to ignore the average fan. The average fan is stupid and has no writing experience.

Seinfeld had one or two guest directors that almost effed it up to the point it seemed like they hated it. There are a bunch of critically acclaimed films that their directors disown too. One of the best subtle gags in this episode (and arguably of the entire series, apart from Dee looking more and more like a bird until she finally became an ostrich) is the ever-increasing red staining of their mouths as each one of them discovers the wine in the can idea.

So glad you guys are back, hope you’re all doing well! For continuity errors, idk if anyone has brought up yet, but there was a scene from last season that had an error. When they’re in ireland and dennis tries smelling the bartenders hair and freaks out when theres no smell. The whole scene the bartender is filling a glass of beer and every shot with the glass in it, theres completely different levels of beer in the glass.
Getting ready to listen to this podcast episode. The very first episode off of the sunny series that I purchased for myself was the game gives Frank an intervention. It is my all-time favorite episode. Each of the characters gets great lines, we get to meet Gail the snail, and the poor intervention counselor! Danny is just delightful as Frank off the rails. "Almost Heroes" is by far one of my favorite Chris Farley movies. It has a story (trying to beat Lewis and Clark to the west coast), it has Farley, and it's hilarious.
Frank belching all the beer out and down his stomach while walking down the street is one of the most gut busting moments for me that I've ever seen in television.

I don't how many years on this earth I got left, so I'm gonna get real with it.... Y'all just don't know how many times I watched the intervention episode. I laughed many times when I was going through depression and grief. When I was broke without internet all I had was dvds and my computer. This series and season 5 truly saved me from jumping in front of a train when I was deep in darkness. I'm so thankful for the dvd series.

I watched Welcome to Wrexham with my folks when I went home for Christmas. And my parents both text me (although they live together) about Wrexham won their premiership and are moving up.
Best show ever put on tv. Simply put. I had such great memories with the show with my friends and ppl and it is one of few shows I can watch over and over.
One of my favorite scenes was when Mac walks away from Donna with his hands on his hips with his head slightly turned at the funeral, I’m not sure why I find it so funny

I always go back to this episode. It's when Frank first peaks in depravity and I LOVE the character arch. So many quotable lines from this one. Definitely an old standby when I revisit Always Sunny.
At 3:59 Rob reverts back to not understanding what a podcast is for a second like the old days. Like when he was telling someone that he already knew the story they were telling 😂

In Season 2 "the gang exploits a miracle" When Dee is talking to Cricket on the steps in front of the church, the same extras in the background walk down the steps multiple times.
The hat sight gag was predictable and hilarious. Great delivery for a goofy bit to explain a simple concept. Bravo!
So glad you guys are back, hope you’re all doing well! For continuity errors, idk if anyone has brought up yet, but there was a scene from last season that had an error. When they’re in ireland and dennis tries smelling the bartenders hair and freaks out when theres no smell. The whole scene the bartender is filling a glass of beer and every shot with the glass in it, theres completely different levels of beer in the glass.
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a show involve pints of beer and NOT have continuity issues lol. The head is generally the giveaway.

Getting ready to listen to this podcast episode. The very first episode off of the sunny series that I purchased for myself was the game gives Frank an intervention. It is my all-time favorite episode. Each of the characters gets great lines, we get to meet Gail the snail, and the poor intervention counselor! Danny is just delightful as Frank off the rails. My favorite favorite sunny episode
I rewatched "Ruthless people" recently. THAT is a comedy from the 80s, with a clever plot, that stands up today, AND Danny Devito is great in it too.

"Almost Heroes" is by far one of my favorite Chris Farley movies. It has a story (trying to beat Lewis and Clark to the west coast), it has Farley, and it's hilarious.

Frank belching all the beer out and down his stomach while walking down the street is one of the most gut busting moments for me that I've ever seen in television.
It was never a question in my mind that it was being regurgitated up in some way, I was surprised by Glenn not realizing that
It's always looked unrealistic to me. No one would gargle a shit ton of beer out of their mouth unless it was just for the camera.

Ye, I don't think she's an actress, she mentioned few times she's not fully comfortable with being on screen... but idk, I do hope they make a nice spin on Charlies sister... Maybe she is actually very successful person and emancipated form the family early in life, like straight after highschool or something and was too preoccupied with career... but now "has cancer" (mirroring charlie in first season, and his mother later)

The best part of this episode was Mac talking to Donna at the start and finishing off with the little peek over the shoulder. Rob killed that part.
I had such a good time at the live podcast at the Albert Hall! Even though I was going by myself, it was so easy to talk to other like minded fans. Great to meet the gang even if it was brief and also Kevin Pollak too who I randomly recognised from Mrs Maisel!

CONTINUITY ISSUE: The Gang Group Dates. Frank Charlie and Mac are discussing what they should and shouldn't talk about on the group dates, on the whiteboard behind frank the word "Aids" appears on the board in one shot, disappears in the next shot, and then reappears in the final shot 😂

I don't how many years on this earth I got left, so I'm gonna get real with it.... Y'all just don't know how many times I watched the intervention episode. I laughed many times when I was going through depression and grief. When I was broke without internet all I had was dvds and my computer. This series and season 5 truly saved me from jumping in front of a train when I was deep in darkness. I'm so thankful for the dvd series.

And my parents both text me (although they live together) about Wrexham won their premiership and are moving up.

My favorite continuity error is in "charlie work" when charlie first enters the bar and Dennis is painting the Carmines steakhouse a place for ste-, then cuts to charlie then back to Dennis and the sign only reads Carmines steakhouse- than the sign at the end when Dennis is taking it down reads Carmines a place for steaks
