Once a stock moves to a ATH after a multi year consolidation then it has high chances of giving multibagger returns. But which one will be a multibagger is anybodys guess. That's why process becomes important

I think If someone seriously doing stock market then he?she knows when to enter but every few knows when to exit... I am here for last 4 years, I also dont know when to exit from the stock... While asking this I am talking about Technically Exit Plan...

Just a question will you pick a stock once it crosses 200ema or you will wait till it broke ATH. Because I can see sometime the stock crosses 200 ema and it came back below it on the charts. Also you will look at volume to see the momentum

Hi Alok, a query regarding drawdown in Momentum stock. I know there is no one answer but when do you exit a momentum stock. I see Tanla has 30% drawdown from the high in Q4 2020. Did we exit the stock and re enter? Formulating an exit strategy is the most difficult part.
Would you also talk about the duds ? Highlighting the 1 or 2 stocks that did well is easy.

Hey Alok. Totally agree with the statement that let your winners run. But at some point you've got to stop and look at the price from a fundamental point of view. Saying that ATGL has gone from 200 to 1400 and that's a 7x return is very good. But very few people have rode it all the way, from 200 to 1400. A lot of them have just entered along the way at 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and some might even be entering at 1400. Now say, the stock drops 50%. The guy who entered from 200 to 500 will be sad, but atleast he has 40% to over 300% returns. But those who entered above 800, they will be having a loss of 15% to 50%, money that cannot be made back, lost capital. So should there be a way to exit the stock and re-enter when you feel the momentum is still left?
Or is there a different way to look at it?
The point you are making is valid but the pct returns from the date of join of anybody vs others will be the same. If somebody is late to a party he or she cannot get the same returns.
