Contrary to popular belief, political correctness wasn’t something invented in the last decade. They’re just louder now, mostly because of social media. Also, you may think the 80’s was this bad ass time where kids cartoons could be dark, gritty and violent, but to that I feel the need to remind you that He-Man wasn’t allowed to punch anyone. Neither was The Incredible Hulk, or Wonder Woman.
I also remember in the late 80s there was these monster trucks (big foot type). And on the front of them in the middle of the bumper there would be a different type of animal head. I remember there was also one bigger size truck that had a fold out back/ ramp that you could carry a couple smaller trucks on it. I also remember on the bigger truck in the front of it where the bumper is was an elephant head and you could push a switch and the Elephant Head would Ram forward. I was Senior Design Director at hasbro from 84-88....and was responsible for all of the Boy's products including Inhuminoids.......HATED having to work on that line but we did what we were told. Not exactly the high point in my career but glad that someone like it!
