President Ruto appoints General Kahariri as new CDF

- President William Ruto has promoted Lieutenant General Charles Muriu Kahariri to the rank of General, and appointed him the Chief of Defence Forces. General Kahariri was the vice chief of the defence forces under General Francis Ogolla, who died on the 18th of April in a helicopter crash.

Please can Kenya Ports Authority with the University from the Coast in Setting up a Mechanical and Electrical Faculties so that the Students can be always doing a repeat Work that was done by Kenya Army in Kisumu of manufacturing Boats and Ships that are done to international Standards, the way the Kenya Arm did in Kisumu....Mombasa can Supply Kisumu with Boats ....for cheaper local Boats, i wish Kenya Army should have done this Project Project with the University and leave it for the Deans of Faculties to Run it together with the Students....passing it on to the next Generation...

When Doing the Artificial river from one of the 7 Folk Project, Kindaruma Dam is a perfekt Spot to siphone Clean water and send it to Wajir Wajir before the current downstream uproots Trees and Wash away the Silt.

@@TheTororist I know that Airforce is not only for pilots, and I also know that know that, commands positions sometimes are preserves of certain fields of training. Even in certain big militaries, Airforce Commander has to be a pilot. You may notice even in Kenya, it is possible that majority if not all former commanders were pilots. Same applies to army and navy, commands is a preserve of certain corps
@@suntzu8959 if command were to be a preserve of certain fields of training/corps, it would serve as a demoralizing factor to other officers. and would breed contempt and jealousy if you know full well you can never rise to certain ranks

+++++ There are Officers for example in the Army, who knows very well that, they may be promoted to higher ranks but will never be Army Commander.
+++++ Officers are trained either to hold a Staff or Command appointments. Note that appointments and ranks are two different things. You can be a 3 star general but not Army Commander.
