      I've always believed MCAT is not all about studying, you need God's grace to pass

      @@jayrollo1352 you got this! Studying for the MCAT was admittedly really stressful (especially bc life doesn’t slow down either), but once you get it over with you’ll feel so much better

    I’m a senior high school student and I’m pretty confident in wanting to pursue an MD/PHD. Do you have any tips or words of advice for someone like me?

    • @RoyceDong
      @RoyceDong  2 роки тому +1

      Honestly, the biggest piece of advice I can give you now is to take it easy and enjoy your life! It’s easy to forget that you’re not just worried about the next four years in undergrad… you also have to go through 8 years of MD/PhD, 4 or so years of residency, multiple years of assistant professorship, etc. it’s a marathon, not a sprint, so be sure to maximize your free time and enjoy doing the things you love, as often as possible.

    Confused, for your practice passage, with the kidney stones - the question itself didn't say in which direction either of the forces were going, or mention anything about a bladder. How did you know to subtract one and not the other?

    • @RoyceDong
      @RoyceDong  2 роки тому

      Good question, it just requires some knowledge of anatomy, ie urine flows from the kidney to the bladder, so the kidney stone must be being pushed in that direction too, and force friction opposes that motion.
