      I am pretty sure that I still have some of the glochids in my hands weeks later...

    That looks really good. In my experience prickly pear tastes like watermelon + cucumber, so I don’t add any water.
    Do you not mix the yeast when you put it in? It looks like you just poured it and let it sit on top

      It really does have an interesting taste!
      I typically just allow the yeast to sit on the top after pitching it. I have tried shaking/stirring the yeast in before and it does not seem to give me a different result.
