Back in the days when Moto2 consisted of a mixture of these riders... 1) Future stars (Marc and Zarco). 2) Riders who would become premier class regulars in the future (Pol, Bradley Smith, Iannone, Rabat, Taka and Redding). 3) Ex-premier class riders (Elias, Alex De Angelis, Anthony West, Takahashi and Mika Kallio). 4) Riders who would fail miserably in the premier class in the future (Xavier Simeon, Lüthi and Di Meglio). 5) Untalented Moto2/250cc seat hoggers (Schrötter, Wilairot and especially Corsi). 6) Whose career would end up in the Moto2 career graveyard (Julian Simon, Aegerter and all other riders mentioned in #4 and #5).
I never thought of Simeon's motogp season as a miserable failure. To me he was never really motogp material so I honestly did not expect much. He performed in his level for the season and then bowed out. And do not mind me saying that rrferring to Corsi as untalented is a crime.
Corsi was talented, he just never had the equipment to fight for the top positions. The only time a teammate outirght beat him was Ramirez in 2022 and we know how good was Ramirez this year. He dominated the CIV Supersport this year
Pol Espargaro got everything except patience but Marc Marquez got everything including patience at the top of that it's the champion's advantage over others the patience⚡🧠⚡💪🏽♥️

Marc can do that again if any bikes on the grid have same specification and minor defference of technology like Moto 2 ,which is they have same machines, but in motoGP nowadays there are many things to differ between advance bike and inferior bike
