I have seen Tamilnadu from very close quarters as it is my neighbouring state. Even in 1990s it was a very poor state compared to Kerala. But the transformation was phenomenal and many of my coworkers in MNCs from TamilNadu were first generation college goers. Thanks to the stress on education, midday meals and industrialization.
Historically all the governments tried to do good, the impacts that these schemes might have taken long but sure these can be seen, especially in the state of Tamilnadu. I am from Maharashtra and worried about the policy, many government primary schools are getting closed due to less students. The irony is people lost confidence in government schools and by taking additional economic burden are forced to admit to private schools. Ideally education and health shall be handled by the government and should be free for all be it poor or higher income group. I don't know how much of an economic burden the modern day private education is creating on parents? In the long term this is going to hurt the country badly.
Why can't the govt add something, to Mid day meal, say if govt announces that the top 10-20 children of a class will get some ration than the parents will also push their child to study well. There should be some incentives to perform better
BJP deos not have ministers like u, and educated and those babus who r educated r very very egotist and think what they are is something very worthy, what they teach ministers they do it, businessmen caught them and sometimes babus are against business , indians are not those who love their country as a whole, they don't even like their neighbours, poverty make babus and ministers and when poor becomes rich his mind changes and egoism comes in their mind, here every Indian has a rate, he oe she sold their soul,, ❤🎉
Very well Articulated Devina ji. Responsible Social Welfare is always good.
