Love it bro I have a ton of snap on tools my self I started with buying the tools first worry about snap on box second. I have craftsman box right now. But almost getting to the point I have all the hand tools and the whole 14.4 line up. Time to hunt down a snap on box on craigslist or let go. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you for the support. I started out buying Craftsman, Gearwrench, etc., but eventually graduated to Snap-on, Mac and SK. I'm trying out more Japanese-branded tool companies, and so far, I've been impressed. As for tool storage, it's not that hard to grow out of your box, especially given the almost cult-like following for Snap-on tools. That said, hope you find a Snap-on box; there's tons of great deals out there!!
Thanks for sharing this! I ordered up the 1/4 and 3/8 holders in metric and sae. Can't wait for them to show up soon. Also snagged their magnetic wrench holders.
These were the only socket holders that held my Tekton impact sockets well. Like you said the Hansen trays didnt hold them without jamming into eachother. My Proto and Sunex impact sockets fit on other holders but because of the thickness of the Tektons i went through several holders before i found one that worked. 👍
I'm impressed with the fit and quality thus far; granted I've only owned them for 24hrs, but based on that, they're top notch. If you ever decide to buy more, I'd encourage you to use my link to save 10$ off your order. olsatools.com/a/rewards/r/MidwestToolReview
It seems like they have pretty decent magnets. I have the 1/4" kobalt tray that looks like them and it's been great but I wish it held the sockets a little better
This is awesome! I wanna try a set like this! I have a MAC branded mechanic time saver for Deep sockets. I also have and really like the Lisle lay flat socket trays for deeps and shallow sockets. I am needing to get a few more in 3/8 and 1/4 the 1/2 drive I am not sure the best storage way for myself yet.
I really like them; granted I've only had them for 24hrs., but from what I can tell, they offer exceptional quality. For the price point, I'd recommend trying out the OlsaTools socket holders. Use my link provided in the bio for 10% off your total order. olsatools.com/a/rewards/r/MidwestToolReview
I like the concept of the Olsa trays, but it seems like they could have made them however long they needed to be to hold an actual full no-skip set. Fortunately, there are a number of similar 3d printed tray designs available. If you just need them as a drawer organizer, you don't even really need the magnets for the individual sockets. I'd probably include ones at each corner to hold the tray in place in the drawer though.
I'd encourage you to do so, and if you do, use my link to save a little $$$. Their prices are very reasonable, and when you compare to Hansen or HFT, I don't mind paying a little extra for the added quality these holders offer.
If you own tools, not just a few little sets. These are too expensive for what you get. The plastic Socket rail are the way to go for anyone but the show box group. just my 2 cents!
watching you put those sockets away in the rail was painful to watch. You like kept trying to put the socket in a slot where you already put a socket. Idk why but man that was painful. I have that olsa tools 80 socket tray and its fucking awesome! I had to buy a second one. They dont have that color scheme available on amazon last time i checked. I had to buy an oem tools one just like it for my second one
Sorry to have hurt your eyes...nonetheless, they are awesome and I promise to figure out how to install my sockets into the holders moving forward..hahaha
@@MidwestToolReview THE PAIN! THE AGONY! Hahahaha. Yeah so I have the black and green tray, 2 of them like I said, and I find them to be far better then those other style trays you have. For one, If you are working at home and not on a lift you can just pick the whole thing up and go to the ground which is helpful. I just did ball joints and a wheel bearing on my integra and it was nice being able to sit on the ground with all my stuff there and organized. I use a magnet tray for all the bolts at the same time. Another reason that tray is good is if you want to go to the junkyard and do some wrenching you just pick it up and go. The 3rd reason is that as you can see they have designated sizes on the blue trays that dont necessarily match your set. On the black and green tray you can add whatever you wherever you want. If you have torx, etorx, security torx, hex bits, etc. you cant really get a tray labeled specifically for those and on top of that those trays are bulky for what they store. My opinion, Big tray > small socket rack.
@@MidwestToolReview o and if you REALLY want to get top dog organized like on some next lvl shit matco has these peg boards that are totally customizable so you can put your tools however you want them. www.matcotools.com/catalog/product/ORGKIT2-528/5228RP-AND-5328RP-DRAWER-ORGANIZATION-KIT/

Good informative review. Ordered a complete set of these and extremely pleased with them!

@@MidwestToolReview thanks, and i will def use your code the next time i order them.
Seeing that Snap-On socket set had me jelly. That’s a nice set.

Nice bro. Keep this thing going
Sure will!!!
Pretty nice! Good video, thanks!

Not quite first, but I made it lol
I don't know why they don't make the 3/8 socket holder to 24mm
I'd agree. I'd also like to see a socket holder that includes a row for mid-length.

Put the deep 21 in the shallow 20 spot.
Cool
The trays aren't spaced for half inch to be next to each other. Thats why I'm not into them
Are you referring to having 1/2" deep and shallow in the same row?
