  • In this video I show you a pretty simple method to get better at drawing zig zag folds. This will help when drawing all sorts of wrinkles and folds with a bit of practice of course.

I'm quite interested in a pinch point video. While the knowledge of different fold types is useful, it's the understanding of the reason behind the fold that makes it look believable.

Excellent tips and suggestions, as always! Some videos covering the differing types of folds, organ pipe, pinch, weightless, etc, would be great! If you could also talk about how to incorporate the body underneath, as you have here. Showing how clothing works with the body is very helpful. There are often different patterns to the folds depending on which leg is forward and which is back, for instance. Coordinating the folds of fabric, essentially the shadow shapes, over the bending body is challenging for me. It'd be helpful to have your insights. Thank you very much!

This is a great idea for a video, Robert! This is challenging to most beginning artists.

This is exactly what I needed! There are plenty of videos out there for beginners but not as much of the intermediate stuff like this. Anything else on lighting and rendering would be amazing! Thank you so much!🤘🤘🤘

    Love the videos!
@Robert Marzullo Would love to see a tutorial on various stone and metals objects, covering basic forms and more organic variations as well. Such as a stone arm or a metal leg.

Thank you for the demonstration! I really do appreciate all of your tutorial videos! I'd love to see more fold videos, particularly how you break down which fold to put where in a costume design that's not something as easy to reference, like how tears and rips affect folds or when you have bits of fabric impacting each other

Wow, this looks really good, you are my second most favorite artist after David Finch. When I compare art of two, yours still hits different.
