Finally someone knows what is they are doing I've been look for a video that someone us the paint stripper I'm going to use it on my mini bike any tips?
Depends on the mini-bike. What kind is it, I'll look it up and give you my advice. I would recommend you also check my videos about Rustoleum paints and primer on the 1995 GMC Sonoma. Let me know. Thank you for your kind words.
Austin Meyer Okay...I looked at that cool bike. If you can remove the engine and fenders and wheels. Only put the paint stripper on the steel tubing. Don't use on the engine at all. If you have painted aluminum, you can use the stripper but only if you can get to all of the bike part in order to clean up the metal after the stripper does it's job. An example is the cooling fins on the bikes cylinder head where the spark plug goes. Be careful with the stripper on your skin..it really burns ya.
Thank you, Tech. Talking, Painting at the same time creates flowing problems in words and liquids and results like terrible on the spray job. It's important to focus on, "how to spray" because it will be how it lay. Next bike paint project planning now. As its three 26" tires sit with the wire basket on the back which belonged to 70's catholic school girl who never learned two wheel bicycling. Ideas, small kiddie bmx springer front end, bmx tires and rims, grape hanger handlebars, not sure on paint color yet but I'm stripping it down to the ground!
Doc...whatcha seeing...cigarette butts extinguished by my big foot? Oh Doc....I appreciate your concern for a pleasure of mine. I don't recommend smoking for anyone...its an ugly demon that's hard to shake loose. God bless ya, Doc.
Dean's of Nomadica Yes Doc..that's good advice, no smoking while paint stripping. I tell ya, doc...good thing I didn't show face cuz my surgical mask had a hole in it for a cig.
I only kid, I just got a laugh when I saw the cigarette butt in the same frame as the paint stripper. Why thank you, I thought the name rolled off the tongue, so I went with it!
Yes Sir, Doc.. I saw it when I initially reviewed the video and I consciously thought the cigarette butts on the ground prop was a bad image considering the thousands of kids who have watched this video of mine. And it's good to point out to those kids that, "yes, tobaccos will be a terrible struggle hold on your soul and your body. Nicotine is a drug, don't mess with it. Thanks Doc. It's worth mentioning.
+Tech No I just saw your question about the hand grips. They sell plastic specialty spray paint. Personally I wouldn't paint them because eventually it will transfer to your hands.
Kyle-_-duhboy Sorry Kyle, I agree with you. Just the way it worked out on this video. I don't think the paint job would have turned out as good as it did if I was recording and talking and painting at the same time.I do hope you found it useful. Best wishes to you and thank you for writing.
