I think you made the best decision on staying at the beach. You have plenty of room to build. I'm looking forward to seeing the next episode. Thanks for all that you do. You are the best. 🤗🥰
I like the big lake base site the best. Things will improve as you move around that area. Head North along the shore, past that big rock on the beach, and you should find a lot more kelp in the bay area up there. West from that big rock is also a couple of cliff type rocks that have a lot of ore on them when you are ready for that. Thanks for the fun today GameEdged. I have missed this game! As always, you are the Best ❣
I think the beach is better for your base. So many more options there, and a much better view! 😁 You are always out and about, once you get back in the groove, you will find plenty of resources to get rolling!
I'd keep both as bases! Couldn't hurt to have more then one base. thanks for you time GE! Cant wait for more of this and green hell! keep up the great work
Great debate, I suggest you stay where you are, there are nearly 10 grub trees around you, if your back is to the lake go left to the bay with the rock shelf and you will find loads of kelp and pearls. Go up the hill with river on your left and turn right go through the top layer of that section across to the next river then come back again a layer down and you will have a full inventory! Loads of free room to see hunters on the beach. Love your series always fun
I've never seen you so indecisive in where you wanted to build. I'm glad you're up and fishing again. Fiber really is such a limiting factor at the start of the game. You're just trying to survive, and you just need three more fiber to craft that bow/fishing pole. Good luck, GE. ETA: Remember, keep your wood, and your powder dry! lol
That is actually a decent place to build. It is a little rough at the start but you are in easy daily run distance of 9 grub trees and 5 locked crate locations. Good ore hunting. Flat for building. I've been settled not far from there for quite awhile.
Love the play through. The are you're in isn't brutal, you're just getting used to the changes. There's tons of fiber that you missed. It's the easiest thing to find these days.
Level 1 wolves you can take down with 3 arrows which will save your ammunition. You can also eat the steaks raw without getting infected but only the steaks
I'm so happy to see you playing this again. It's one of my all-time favorite survival games that you got me into. Keep up the magnificent work, and know that we all love and appreciate all the hard work you pit into keeping us all entertained
Each location had some advantages I liked the newer location but the lake here would definitely give you more room to grow. The proximity to the bear and lack of fiber maybe a Continual problem with the original site.
Just came across your video randomly. I live survival games, a d thiis looks really harsh. Guess is PC only? Still subbed cause enjoyed your adventure.
Still debating on weather to get this, Stranded Deep, Icarus, or Soul Mask next week. What do people suggest? I have SCUM which this feels like so idk.
I have found subsistence to have been the most addictive game i have played and never gets boring. So many options and free building and whether to have hunters on or not.
Anyone else find it funny that this dev insists wolves and bear hang out together when we all know they fight with each other and with the constant LACK OF PACKS of wolves and constant BATTLE OF THE BEARS not happening with them so close together like they are. Just pointing that out.
I constantly think shadows are crates. Yea, I don't know if there is a bug, but I start the game sometimes and you can't find any Kelp. Some people say this game is realistic? No, it's difficult not realistic. It looks very realistic, but a Wolf isn't going to take multiple shots to the head and still kill you. They also don't swim as fast as a human. I have had a Bear kill me in the water and he would had to have moved faster than an Olympic swimmer to get from the shoreline to me so fast. Also prey don't usually run towards predators.

Absolutely love watching you play this, at least you now have a fishing platform at the pond ☺️ looking forward to the next one

Great video GameEdged. Can't wait for the next episode.
I actually like the bigger lake area than the small pond you made the right decision. Thanks GE you're the best!

YES. Just started a new play bout 3 weeks ago and now GE is playing. Awesome!

@6:19 Dirty lying ferns! 😄
I love this game, but I wish it had POI'S. A companion pet and a mount.
GE you are a legend
I saw the bear right away and was holding my breath waiting for you to notice it. Luckily it didn’t take you long at all

Goooood Morning, love the vids
GE...welcome back to real good games ....!!!

Not too many bears and wolves so far. May be a good place to build xx
Yes we are back nice🎉
It's back! 👍

Leuk video love you video gr sylvia uit Holland
I’m watching on a big tv, how the hell can you see the boxes, rabbits & chickens from a distance in the underbrush???
So I see cold games has made patches of fibers which is awesome but did he also increase the amount you need to make cordage and other recipes?
Love this game
Just came across your video randomly. I live survival games, a d thiis looks really harsh. Guess is PC only? Still subbed cause enjoyed your adventure.
I wanna know how you call this a rough start you collected alot of stuff you had food and didn't die yet .. thats an awsome start in my books
Still debating on weather to get this, Stranded Deep, Icarus, or Soul Mask next week. What do people suggest?
I have SCUM which this feels like so idk.
this is better
definitly this.
I have found subsistence to have been the most addictive game i have played and never gets boring. So many options and free building and whether to have hunters on or not.
Will you make a farm this time around?
Stay on the beach. You can build a much bigger base with a view. ❤😂
You need to play soulmask man I would love to see you play it
Thank you for coming back do you think that you could get the old crew together and do some co op see if ohno and the bunch come I do miss those games
I don't understand how you can eat NINE kelp and TWO chickens in a day and you have zero protein. WTH???
It's "subsistence" when your substinance has been subsiding.
I use a lot of fish traps
I think your better off at the second location
Anyone else find it funny that this dev insists wolves and bear hang out together when we all know they fight with each other and with the constant LACK OF PACKS of wolves and constant BATTLE OF THE BEARS not happening with them so close together like they are. Just pointing that out.
To make this perfect you need Ohno and Dread xx

Keep both of them, one for a base and a back up.
Wow this game looks awesome! I am stuck on console at the moment though🫤
