Being a firefighter down here in Texas, I would love to see more of the videos especially when you get “the big one” and can play as PD and EMS as well. Can’t wait to get this game when it’s done. Great video jeff

Man I wish Manhattan had that kind of traffic as portrayed in this game. I live 20-30 minutes from Manhattan and driving in it is the worst. Gridlock occurs almost 24/7 on the island of Manhattan. Quick tip, based on living in NY long enough to know Manhattan, when going north/southbound, all street numbers going up means you’re going uptown (north) and going down means downtown (south). 1st through 12th streets go from east to west respectively. Most numbered streets are a one way street and alternate direction of traffic at each numbered block.

The Ladder trucks and Engines of FDNY love that Manuel and Q siren lol and the rescue rigs love that screaming Q and EQ sirens! And don't even get me started on the air horn! Lol
Actually Jeff to correct you, emergency companies can go the wrong way, it happens all over Manhatten, fire trucks always going the wrong way so you're not breaking the law if drive in oncoming traffic You should keep playing the game also, many updates and new maps
The Dev's are REALLY working their ass off to make this game good. Very dedicated few guys doing this game and have come a very long way since it came out..
AdventureHoon Oh I'm not knocking it! It looks like a great concept. The fact that there was so much detail (though not graphically) down in the SUBWAY alone, was pretty impressive. I just think it's gonna take a lot more to 'impress the masses'. But if it's a super small team, like you say, then mad respect to 'em!

This game has come a long way, as a fireman this game is super realistic, if it helps for future reference don’t start opening up doors and windows until you’ve got a line set up ready to go it helps the fire spread faster when it’s got an open pathway and don’t be so reliant on the ladder trucks, the engines going to make the first push👍 keep up the good work
I understand that it's fun to drive but it seem as if the AI should be able to respond realistically along with you. How long do these fires blaze without growing?
Love this game... Makes me feel like I'm at home! One thing for the developers though, CPW, the first main avenue that Jeff turned onto irl is a 2 way. Edit: it looks like every street is 1 way, so I guess those features will be implemented whenever they are.

The developer is going through a rough time in his life right now so progress has been slowed, but he's assured us he'll get back to the grind eventually. I can't wait for You, Buggs and Polecat to respond to some calls on multiplayer!

I will be honest Jeff. This game has had some serious improvements. From a UA-camr to another one, you should 100% try this game again. I posted a video recently, should check it out sometime. It shows a little about the game with what has came.

I love the concept of this game and I really enjoyed watching the GTA V Fire episodes. With a completed version of this game I think it could be really successful and would love to see you play it alone or with the rest of CZG!!
FYI guys this is a simulator it will be used for the FDNY when they are done as the Creator has made many trips to New York and has worked/visited the fire departments to show off this game and to study their trucks

I think they shouldn’t have used the unity engine. This game is an awesome concept, but I think for now the execution isn’t really good. Again however, its still an alpha in its very early stage of development, so i still have my hopes up
Theres three things i like, the realism of the prep phase before fighting the fire, the driving physics, and the 1st person view while fighting the fire. Only bad things are the AI intelligence and graphics
I gotta say Jeff, I never expected you or anyone from Code Zero to ever cover this game based on your affinity to police/aviation roleplay. I also remember you once saying back in the day when you, Polecat, and Buggs did fire patrols in DOJ that you weren't interested in learning the proper terminology or tactics because you simply weren't interested. I'm thrilled to see such open-mindedness from you as you can definitely tell this is a game meant for enthusiasts due to how complicated all the firefighting mechanics are and would put off most casual gamers. It's clear that you spent some time learning the game too before recording because I remember I had a lot of trouble setting up the hoses at first as well. Most people so far who I've seen cover this game get frustrated and then go on to call it shit because they're just too impatient to try and learn about it. So thanks for giving it a chance and shining a light on what's going to be a great game made by a small team of passionate developers who emphasize attention to detail and deserve their credit. This is why you're one of my favorite UA-camrs. Hopefully now you can understand why the medics and firefighters in DOJ spend a little extra time typing in their RP commands in the chat. Keep up the great work Jeff, and looking forward to more EmergeNYC. 👍

I Really enjoy the the manual siren sounds, the sirens and air horns just sound so nice!, this game seems really enjoyable!

There's a police sim that's supposed to come out called Police 1013 that you may be interested in when the alpha is eventually released.
The Senate Until then, Jeff would have to settle for Police Simulator 18 and Flashing lights when both of them are released.

I bought this at like tech demo 0.3 or something like that. it's been amazing to watch this game grow, sometimes NYC wont load at all for me lol
