This is almost identical to my build, Im now level 58 have cleared the campaign and am stomping the end game. Strangely resistances haven't been an issue with my build, I have nearly none but still tank my way thru everything XD. This build really really takes off if u max out all crit chances and multipliers as well as throw damage and shadows. Throw on a few ward when ur shadows appear affixes and ur set.
You maybe know by now or have at least a good enough understanding but just because you asked: Shadow Daggers has been overpowered for a while now. The fact that it scales with so many things and you can forego crit chance completely makes it so that you can dump all your stats into crit mutli, flat damage and other juicy multiplicative stuff and there is almost never a dead stat on your gear. It is however relatively squishy. But only when compared to the other balancing outliers to be fair. In a vacuum it is not even that squishy.
Main problem with all these leveling tier list builds is they are builded by speedruner . Its clearly visible skill progression, nodes ,skill specilizations are in pretty mess up order also a lot of things have no sense . Some skills gonna deal tons of damage but your mana pool will be constantly in dept cause speed runers they cast one skill and mostly rush. I dont recommend this builds not because they are bad , but because they are build with different mind set not for casual play
I mostly agree with that, but I also feel like they aren’t quite speedrun builds. It’s like a weird middle of the road thing that’s only OK for both styles of play. I’ll try running the next run with pure speedrun mindset and see if I notice any difference
You can see at the very begining S tier builds are the builds that doing damage while moving this is the first sign , Second sign is damage is picked over mana sustain, third sign is staff is used on all casters/spell damage dealers. Warlock build for example everything is dropped for massive Chtonic fissure when there is better mana sustain combos with this skill and better nodes
Precisely why I only use their guides as a foundation for my builds. As I level using their guide, I will eventually be changing certain nodes or abilities to better suit my play-style. But overall I find their guides useful when playing a new class because it teaches you the fundamental mechanics that make them effective.
on the topic of well made guides... would be nice to see something that is min maxed for leveling including stuff like twink items and stuff like that, I do totaly agree that the maxroll guides are to basic and will help when you play your first char but is nowhere near enough if you want to be fast and efficent... would be nice to see some guides from you that are maxed out to go fast
Been leveling my spellblade and.... I'm not feeling it. Rolling my own trash build (cold shatter) and now getting rekt at lv45, but even while it did work, it's boring.
That’s basically how I’ve felt. I tried shatterstrike proccing spells, dots, pure big crits. They work alright but they’re not really super strong and melee is generally punished in this game already

@jaygerlach6884 I have, I just really wanted to make shatterstrike work because I like how it looks. But I wasn’t blown away by reave either
