During day, direct sunlight is scorching. We were in T-shirts during day. Nights bit cold. The snow is mostly melted by September. Water channels have also receded by then. It becomes a gravel and dirt off-road track. Having said that and to summarise its awesome if you do not expect snow capped mountains.
