I’m an American trying to learn your bellissima language. Love your sight it helps me hear good pronunciation. The only thing is how fast Italians talk. Is hard to keep up as a beginner. Thanks for a wonderful sight to watch. I hope to have more conversations on my next visit. Ciao
Hey Todd, try slowing down the video on youtube. You can also start watch 'super easy Italian' playlist on their channel. I've started this recently myself, helps a lot. Cheers
Join Patreon for Easy Italian for $10 a month and you'll get the vocabulary, transcripts, exercizes and a crossword. I find by using those materials then watching the same episode a few times that I understand more each time I hear it even at normal speed.
Try duolingo and wordio app, it will help you a lot.

i don't understand any small word they say without looking to subtitles but i like the way they speaking the language.
Yeah it takes a lot of time. I still have a long way to go, but one day things start clicking and you don’t have to read the titles as much. Keep it up!
These videos are so helpful we get common words in context without English. So we really start immersing. HOpe you can get outside soon and start making more. I've noticed since Covid lockdown you've made wonderful use of your own apartment for teaching us!

Ho appena iniziato a imparare l'italiano. Mi piacciono molto i tuoi video perché parli di molte cose interessanti. Anche se vorrei che la gente non parlasse così velocemente. Dato che io e mia moglie non siamo più tanto giovani, di solito la sera restiamo in casa, anche se di tanto in tanto usciamo al ristorante o incontriamo degli amici.

"Weekend" it's the same in Italian?
Yes we use weekend a lot instead of the translation fine settimana :)
Also in slovenian instead of konec tedna.
We still use "fine settimana" over "weekend" from central Italy going south, maybe Milan people uses "Weekend" more due to a difference in working schedules and lifestyle.
Who is this designed for? It's far too fast for a beginner to understand.
