I love trees ❤ My Dad was the son of a lumber mill owner and I grew up around his woodworking and what wood could be used for. I love the smell of freshly sawn wood. He made us all kinds of things when my sister, brother and I were growing up, and he had all the special woodshop tools to create the most marvelous items. 300 years of this old tree’s creation and many more years of beautiful displays of its inner beauty if the pieces are used for furniture or art installations. Each slice represents beautiful table tops to me but the tree as a whole is a whole lot of earth history. If trees could talk what tales they could tell us.

Великолепные столешницы получатся, особенно предпоследние, но которых рисунок похож на лицо с закрытыми глазами! 👍 отличная работа! Когда-то под деревом сидела собака, крепление поломало цепь в первый раз. И не смотря на то, что дерево залечило ранку, это стало причиной того, что пошла гниль. Интересно сколько бы могло ещё жить это дерево, если бы не помешали ещё такие же подобные факторы?

Where there was a lot of fighting with hand-grenades and especially mortar and artillery shelling, you can find a lot of this spots in the tree's when you getting into panels.
They got them as a young tree, and after 75 years you can find them sometimes in the middle of the tree.

Guys! Great job! You are running a blue 122cc saw. Please tell me what is her resource? What are the weak points? Does it make sense to buy it for rip sawing into slabs? Or is there no substitute for Stihl 881?
Many years ago we had an oak tree down near the farm pond that towered over everything. One day during a very heavy storm it fell over. It's limbs alone provided a little lumber and a lot of firewood. The trunk at the 4 foot level was over 5.5 feet across. Nobody thought to count the rings for many years. The last remnant minus the outer 4-5 inches was at least 375 years old.
How sad that such wonders can suddenly disappear from the land.

Theres a monster white oak behind my garage, hit by lightening a dozen times. dead at the top and increasingly on its massive log size branches, base is at least 6' dia. and 50' of 4'+ dia. strait trunk...enough oak to build a church...theres a perfect one down the street, about 150' tall and almost as wide. Tree is as big as a 4 story barn.
This is the most unsafe dismantling of a huge tree I have seen.
You definitely wouldn’t want to see how my husband does it/has to sometimes.
This 300 year old tree surely hides his "three centuries" inside.

I am now having an artist in our State make a Semi truck carved into wood for my husband now. I was married 52 years and remarried 5 years ago, since wood is for 5th Anniversary I am having the semi truck carved for him

@@lindaarbogast6499 it's kind of a joke. A lot of trees in yards regardless of country have metal in them. Fences, nails, bird feeders to name a few things. It just seems like every time Belko mills a log he hits metal and he is in Belarus hence the joke.

Скобы, гвозди, осколки бомб, мин и снарядов в 300-летнем дереве. Но зато из него можно сделать много журнальных столиков. В дырки можно залить или гипс со столярным клеем и с деревянными и костяными кусочками. Или залить в них алюминиевый сплав или эпоксидку с отвердителем, шишками, ракушками и цветами или цемент с битым стеклом. Также из толстой ветки можно сделать барчик для спиртного и подставку под барбекю и стул с табуреткой.

There's a well known meme (which unfortunately is a myth) about a bicycle being leant against a tree and it eventually ends up being swallowed by the enormous tree and as the tree grew so the bike rose with the tree. There's lots of trees in that story apologies for that. It was a very memorable picture.
