Sorry this movie took so long to get out, I wanted to try out some new editing stuff, took a long time to record this and the entire project became so much more massive than I was expecting.

i think there was a few editing mishaps, that moment of silence towards the beginning and then the lack of subtitles at 12:01 but either way i would greatly appreciate subtitles. Not only deaf people can use subtitles but a very large part of the neurodivergent community use them as well. it would be convenient and you might see more interaction with you videos because it is ND friendly!!

Some unfortunate info you've probably figured out by now: Yes, the Gatekeeper's house was one of the Blue Skies portal structures (the dark grey portal in the storage room goes to the other dimension). By extension, the Gatekeeper could have saved you time by trading you the needed keys. The backpacks you were using have an integrated crafting table in the bottom right, so it would have been possible to make some axes in the boss room if you had some wood or sticks on hand with the Blue Skies ores you had gotten from the dungeon chests.
What drove me insane was that he completely ignored that hi shovel was unbreakable.

You can’t use vanilla shields, Origins wasn’t meant to be combined with other mods, so you could have still used any of the modded shields.

Hey Skyes, a thing with the Backpacks, the orange squares are a crafting grid. so the backpack is not only storage, but a portable crafting table. Figured this would help for later adventures!

there are two map mods installed in this pack, you can find them in your settings for keybinds. I suggest choosing the one you prefer and turning off the settings/keybinds for most of the other you dont like! Great video BTW.

To use the waystones, place two or more of them down, right clicking on each one. Then you can teleport between them! It even works between dimensions, but I think that costs levels.

That's how they've always worked for me. Wonder if its a different mod blocking it or messing up some config files for it.
I loved the video. Definitely a fan of those montages. Also heres some cool info about some of the mods!
-fire and ice (mean dragons) you can use their scales to make armor. The armor makes the dragons breath attack deal less damage. Under normal circumstances you can find dragons underground in dens and if a female is killed you can get their egg. Which you can hatch and grow up. Then youll have your very own dragon to ride! Also cyclops eye is OVERPOWERED.
-obscurias essentials(the wither skellies had armor from this mod on.) You can smelt the raw platinum with a blast furnace which takes 400 secs if i remember correctly. My best advice is use blocks of fiery glass as they smelt more items than a bucket of lava. In the end, using the ingots to make paladin armor is crazy early on as far as how useful it is.
-forbidden and arcanus(this you found expetrified orbs) you can use expetrified orbs and stellarite piece which you get from an ore that looks like the expetrified ore. But looks like a cool magma. Note it explodes upon mining but youll still get it. You can use 4 orbs and a piece to make an eternal stella. If combined with almost anything that has a durability bar in a smithing table, it makes it indestructible.
Sorry if this was a mouthful but i hope the info proves useful in the future for the potential 200 days i hope you have a nice day!
I have a question not done yet watching but did he tame a dragon from ice and fire or wyrmroost mod or not? Because I'm kinda here for that.
Slap that on dragonsteel and you're good to go for the whole playthrough
@@dragonmaster1334 not sure about wyrmroost but to yo have an ice and fire dragon you must hatch a dragon egg. You can get these from killing female stage 4 or 5 dragons which can spawn underground. A couple of tips when hunting for them: they usually spawn in y30 to 45, lightning dragons spawn usually in jungles, ice dragons spawn in cold biomes like the taiga, and fire of course will spawn in hotter biomes like badlands and savannah.

You’ve just made my 28 hour drive so much better,
For the waystones you activate them, making the writing on them glow, and then leave them there. When you find another waystone and activate it, then you are able to use them to teleport between the two activated stones. When you find a lot of them, you can take a stone or more with you to set up at locations you would want to explore more.
Just found your channel and having a blast with your narration of events. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Wyrmroost mod dragons appearing. You can actually tame them. Those tiny red ones near the beginning are tamed with eggs and are neutral until attacked. The Overworld Drakes are tamed by repeatedly trying to use a saddle on them as they try and fight you off.
The big sea monster thing you saw by the village was a Butterfly Leviathan. It too can be tamed but only if it is on land during a thunderstorm and you feed it meat.
Sad how buggy some of the twilight forest stuff looked. It would have been nice to see how the dimension looked with your shaders on! Keep up the great work! I'll be looking into watching more of your content now that I have found you!

I have multiple chronic illnesses as well as chronic pain and Skyes is one of only a handful of UA-cam creators whose videos are both entertaining & engaging enough yet also relaxing to distract me when either my pain &/or anxiety flare up.
I'm sure someone must've mentioned this already, but the reason as to why the twilight forest was bugged is due to optifine. If I recall correctly, when you start minecraft through forge and have optifine as well as the twilight forest, there will be a pop-up mentioning that twilight is not compatible with optifine or something like that. I've had the problem with Naga's missing body and turning off optifine fixed it. On a different note; I loved the video/movie, it was a lot of fun to watch! Have a great day. ^^

Skyes, if you have optifine with the modpack, within your settings is a setting called “Show Gl Errors” and if you turn it off they wont show up and you can keep the chat on. keep up the good work!

You should do a charity stream with this mod, the goal of the stream could be to beat the twilight forest or beat a dragon while people donate to spawn mobs or items that either help you or slow you down

Just gonna say, all the issues in the Twilight Forest almost were entirely due to Optifine being installed! Without it, you should have been able to see all the effects and cues for bossfights

I'm still early in the video, but in case it never gets mentioned, the weird thing the trees were doing if he didn't shift is a mod that lets you chop down a tree by hitting the base block repeatedly.
