This reflects a lot on Sion's character. It seems that he hates everyone, and blames people for his horrific condition, so in a twisted form of revenge, he wants to torture other people to the point of reflecting his own agony. If it weren't for the ratings, Sion would have been the most frightening, unsettling and nightmare inducing character ever to be in a Star Wars video game. To see this actual disfigured and mutilated Undead man hounding and hunting for you, to see his way of handiwork of butchering the misfortunate beings, such as the Jedi he had slain during the Wars and after, and the Republic Soldiers he had hounded and graphically murdered on the Harbinger, would do more than just send chills down your spine, he will make you lose a couple of nights of sleep. I’ve never played a game that deserved a proper remake more than this one. KOTOR I was so good on its own that it doesn’t really need a remake, other than for maybe updating the graphics. KOTOR II was so clearly unfinished, though. I’d kill to see the gameplay balanced out, side quests added back in, more dialogue with your crew, and just the whole vision of what the developers wanted. I can literally picture how amazing some of these scenes would be with modern animation and editing. I’d lose my mind if a good studio got ahold of the rights.
@@Triunity4 No, I'm pretty sure I meant what I said. The KOTOR games are so old I don't think they're worth a remaster anymore. At this point it'd be both easier and more worthwhile to rebuild the entire game from scratch, address everything that was unfinished, and breathe some fresh life into the franchise, rather than simply porting every asset to a new engine and masking what exists without any changes. Remasters work better for games that are only a few years old, not several decades removed from current technology. Between Kotor's gameplay, basic animations, and world builds, (remember-- remasters don't change any of those) I doubt a remaster would appeal much to modern audiences, or even look normal (Thinking super realistic textures on those low-poly faces. Weird). Of course, a full remake always has the potential to go terribly wrong if you put the wrong people in charge. I said that Kotor II deserves a remake more than Kotor I, because Kotor I is perfectly fine as it is. Messing around with it could be disastrous if they decide to start adding and subtracting things as they rebuild it (and they certainly will). But Kotor II was left with so much unfinished that a ground-up remake could only stand to realize the full potential of the game, rather than ruin it.

After all this would have required custom visual assets to do properly too, which means even more time investment and so on.

There’s a glitch avatar at the main menu screen for Kotor 2. I’ve only seen it for playing on the switch port of the game. The character looks almost like he described stitched together with scars and such
Perhaps an unpopular opinion: that last bit of Atton tagging along with the Exile into the Unknown Regions is one of the parts that should have remained un-restored; the whole point of going into the dark to seek out and help Revan is that one must go alone with no one but the necessary T3. So, in a way, I prefer this ending to Arron’s arc (especially for a FemExile) as it’s the most realistic and thematically fitting conclusion that the game was building towards-just like that unknown Jedi died to save Atton, the former Sith assassin would give his life to preserve that of the Jedi he loved. Bittersweet, no?
Anything on Mira? She was my favorite. I turned into a Jedi, gave her a double sided orange lightsaber with the force shriek ability. Always give any Jedi I make one dark side power.
I thought Sion was persuaded into SPOILERS Giving up clinging onto life through his Rage if Meetra Surik persuaded him that his Quest for Vengeance left him hollow.
Sort of like how, if you fail one particular mission in Wing Commander III, the game continues with your side slowly losing the war. I wish more games had features like that.
I wasn’t even sure it was possible not to die. It’s a scion until I finish the game, and I deleted that save. I finished it a few days ago and now I feel terrible. I can’t get that safe back so I just need to restart the game. It doesn’t matter. He will be saved. He will leave Malachor V.
Do you think you can show off the "Atton turns on your crew and fights the Principle" part? Same for the "The Handmaiden betrays you and fights Visas Marr"?

That’s why you have to turn him into a Jedi. I could never beat Sion with blasters, but I could as a Jedi.
Might’ve been the developers intention with the subplot of turning Atton into a Jedi.
@@ericgrimes341 You just need a lot of mines to kill Sion as non jedi Atton
@@hadik3371 Haha that’s the only way I beat the first boss in KOTOR1. What a cheese way to do it. Just use the command cheats and sup up your guys if you’re gonna cheese. 😆
Anyone else get Mordin Solus vibes from his speech patterns at the end?
Sion got skills, hoisting up Atton by the neck with his saber still in the same hand.
I got this on my first playthrough. I was not emotionally prepared for it.
Atton reminds me of Ron Wesley
And yet in kotor 1 bastila is tortured by malak
I wouldn't say it's some miracle if Atton beats Sion. Granted, if Atton is made into a Jedi, it's considerably easier. In any case, this is a neat idea and it shows the tremendous amount of thought which went into the game's writing.
This channel will have 1 mil subs in 1-2 years time guaranteed if the quality remains as good as it has been. 🤝
Thank you, sir!
There’s a glitch avatar at the main menu screen for Kotor 2. I’ve only seen it for playing on the switch port of the game. The character looks almost like he described stitched together with scars and such
damn player character not a single tear drop animation whatsoever, that was cold obsidian, that was COLD.
1:07 Does that make the cut content restored through that canon to the KOTOR 2/Legends timeline?
If aspyr only managed to get the game working correctly.....
Agree
@@DarkLOREDash
I laughed a bit more than I should have at your monosyllabic response juxtaposed to unnecessarily wordy spiel, ngl 😂😂
@@warlordofbritannia Agree has two syllables
I think HK 47 was also supposed to come with you
Considering that he can explain you how to take down Sion he would be very uselful
First heard this cut content like...15, 16(?) years ago. ...and thus were hundreds of pages of fic born. >.>
Anything on Mira? She was my favorite. I turned into a Jedi, gave her a double sided orange lightsaber with the force shriek ability. Always give any Jedi I make one dark side power.
I am sure there's something 😌
it always amazes me how dark these games were
so the force unleased and swtor armor mod for darth sion is actually for Atton? Wow mutileved twist
I thought Sion was persuaded into SPOILERS
Giving up clinging onto life through his Rage if Meetra Surik persuaded him that his Quest for Vengeance left him hollow.
This is before the exile meets Sion. Atton fight happens even before the exile enters the training grounds.
Just give Atton precise shot + two-weapon fighting, then slap on dual blasters with strong modifications. Spam shields until you win
That's darker than the vanila itself. Damnit Obsidian
Yea I just saw this cutscene for the first time. Didnt know Atton could die.
Do you think you can show off the "Atton turns on your crew and fights the Principle" part? Same for the "The Handmaiden betrays you and fights Visas Marr"?
Disciple**
I really wish they signed those papers to give them more time because what we have is so good but has clear flaws if you played it
I love how no one is mentioning the way sion is hiding Atton up lol
Hiding? 😆
I played the backwards compatible version on Xbox lol was I supposed to get any of this?
I thought there was a cut scene where you heal him
Wow once again KOTOR 2 proving its the best game of all time.
And he can also be killed by the Exile, which I did in the penultimate playthrough... how was that... unpleasant(
Atton kills Mical out of jealousy and then attacked the Exile when she caught him in the act.
Wait, Atton attacks you if the Atton/Mical confrontation scene triggers?
I remember having a blast dueling against sion and nihlus, 2 badass sith lords. Kreia was cool too but sion reminded me of maul and nihlus reminded me of vader.
You can train Atton to be a jedi. I bought the book. I played the game one time through before I bought it. So much more fun that way.
Meanwhile... spams mines...
Hides behind pillars & prays
1:21 ... walk into a bar. sounds like the start of a bad joke
Was the original content restored for the Xbox series consoles?
hope the remake will be at obsidian level, because this is the best video game ever, and if they had all the time they needed he cold be again way more better
Hurts when I laugh,.. Hurts... UGH.
Damn Atton really is a loyal dog.
Why was your Atton not a jedi? He said he never told u he was a sith assassin but he would've already told u if you made him a jedi...
I don’t understand how I play on Xbox and I’m close to the ending. They beg me for help to go back to the second level of the game and when I go there it’s froze. I can’t do anything.
just finished the game. Scion destroyed me, i thought that was supposed to happen. was to lazy to reload and went with it
Imagine not influence atton enough to make him a jedi or dark jedi. A blasphemy
Why does buddy form the channel sound like Max Payne or
Jason Statham 🤣. Ether way can we get him as a voice actor 😌
Obsidian should be in charge of TES and Fallout universe, they do a much better job!
This is the movie series that should have been made…
Sounds like my playthrough.
Bro i did not even know this. I always run either a jedi Atton Build or a Blaster Jedi Atton build so i always win against Sion. Seriously Master speed + Master rapid shot and boom. Sion is downed.
0:31 .....bruh how did you die to Force Plague???? it does no damage it just reduces speed and attributes
just realized that guy on the floor i forgot name isnt he the american goku aactor?
So I made it to right outside the temple on malachor but when I go in the load screen won't finish loading it will hit a certain point and then the loading just stops and will stay like that I play on the backward compatible version on Xbox if it matters and also I assume I have to start a new game unless there is some way i can get it to work
Are you sure this was cut?
This sounds VERY familiar. It has been over a decade since I played this on the 360, but I did so dozens of times trying to find secrets, and this is VERY VERY familiar.
You can only have this ending if you install the restored content mod
That is what we call the Mandela effect. Pretty sure your just remembering the area and the fight between protag and Sion
maybe you remembered it from a long time ago
@@pikaplayz5190 I played it when it first released, but not since 2008 when the GF who have it to me died.
I hated the fact that kreia kills all your companions if you made them into jedi.
nah she doesn't kill them. Just defeats them. You can rescue them.
@@r.mariano8118 oh that's cool. Admitedly I've only ever seen the cutscene. I've gotten as far as koriban. And given how everything up to that point played out and how gloomy KotoR 2 was I assumed she killed them.
My one question is why on earth would you have your character wear a robe from KOTOR 1 when the robes in KOTOR 2 look infinitely better lol
I really like the robes from 1
It would've been so much better if they got to actually finish it
Is this only if you turn everyone into force users?
While I love the restored content mod, I absolutely abhor the droid planet section. The premise is certainly fresh and interesting, but the execution was just so poor. Endless backtracking and ugly world design. I understand it was unfinished but still.
i wish the switch versions had the cut content...don't get me wrong i think its a good port but its just as buggy of a mess as it always was, they didn't even up grade the stability
Disturbing Scene??? not even blip on the scope... the beat down scene was more disturbing than that
Wtf how does atton end up on malachor 5
So am I the only one who missed out on like 80% of this content 😭😭
How does Atton fight sion??
Noooo😭😭 Atton my boy❤️😭😭
Am i the only one that thought Kotor 2 was just as good if not better than Kotor 1 ? 🤔🧐
Does anyone tried to kill all their teamates too?
Yes
Yo is that shad
