Mine used to work fine. But then it started to randomly not turn on and sometimes turn on. it started to show me only black screen. Now when I press menu button it shows me night sky with the car logo and CARPLAY written underneath, and it stays on that screen. How do I make it work again?
The fm transmitter is not the greatest tbh. I use an external fm transmitter and connect it to the device. I will be uploading a video later today installing it on a g35.

is the power cable long enough to go right behind the dashboard and go around the dashboard for the power cable to go in so you don't see any cables?
Yes it is pretty long. You can also get an extension online
Can you tell us how we can tell the unit is 2nd generation and not the 1st generation. I plan to order one. Thanks
It should say in the description. If you buy it directly through them or Amazon they should all be 2nd gen. You can always ask the seller.
