  • I LOVE this new planning routine!
Come plan your week with me in Notion. Not a Notion user? No worries. It's the process I use that has helped me stay on track and get things done, even with my highly distractible ADHD brain.
Finding a routine around weekly planning and reviewing has been a total game-changer in my life. I went from being totally scattered to knowing exactly what I had to do and when.
    Let's get you there, too!
If you're a solopreneur or content creator, let me know how you plan and review progress in your biz!

Bernice, if you feel overwhelmed, planning will help you get a hold of your time, but more importantly, doing less is always more.

I jumped on the notion train this week! Have you changed it quite a bit since your one from 5 months ago? Or are you just looking at it from a different view? I actually referenced that one a bit when I started this week 🥰 (I had to remind myself to take it slow and that I don't need to do all the things in there right now 🤣)
[Edit 🤣 hit post on my comment and then you said it was different than the beginning of the year]
I've been bullet journaling since 2016 and my brain has just been really fighting against it lately and I think it's because I can't really adjust it as I go... Like at the beginning of the year I gave myself 2 pages for a "someday maybe" shopping list at the beginning of the year of things I think I'd eventually like to have in my home but either I'm not actually sure I really want it and want to sit with it for a while so I'm not impulse purchasing unnecessary stuff or I know I want it but it doesn't make sense either financially or in the space right now or whatever.
Well that's full now and so if I keep doing it in my bullet journal I either have to continue it somewhere else and flip back and forth or rewrite it somewhere else and even then I'd still be turning pages, it'd just be one instead of 50. And that kinda thing worked for me for a long time but lately my brain is just like 🙅🏻‍♀️🚫✋🏻⛔👎🏻🚫 so I'm hopeful notion will help me get back to planning my life

Notion is a rabbit hole for sure! My process has changed mostly in that I now focus on my week (visually) as I find it more helpful. But it will change again.
What I've found with ADHD, is that my brain gets bored of systems, so I need to "resparkalize" them every once in a while. Notion is like playdough. You can make it into whatever you want it to be.

Hi Caren - I've recently discovered your videos and am loving them. I'm curious about the reason behind each of line items you've chosen. Like, how did you come to decide to have a line regarding Intuition? Do you have a video about that already? And, I'm curious how much time you set aside to do your weekly / monthly / quarterly planning sessions? Is there a particular day of the week and / or way you manage your energy around these sessions? I have tried to put planning sessions in my calendar on Friday afternoons and find all kinds of reasons to ignore the reminder until the next time I'm like "I really need to set aside time for reflection and planning."

Hey Heather, welcome! I do my weekly review on a friday afternoon, then I typically do my planning on Sunday afternoon. You've got to find a rhythm that suits you and also, try to make it a fun experience. Make a ritual you look forward to. That really helped me.
