You forgot the support engineer, also I prefer 1 cav, 5 inf and 4 arty. You need more inf to keep sucking up damage for the arty to remain effective for longer, once the inf line collapses, the arty get cut down like butter.
@@thelakeman2538...no they don't though? 9 artillery and one recon unit is perfectly viable, if expensive. The thing about arty in Vic2 is that their support bonus for being in the back line is so huge it makes the infantry contribution nearly irrelevant. By late game their stats in the back row are about 150 attack and 200 defense with the bonus iirc. Go read up on Nurse Reno's guide if you doubt me, it surprised me too.

Normally this is my division in each game for the late game with each country, it doesn't matter which one. Just slightly different, 11inf/3art/1rocket or 11inf/2art/2rocket
I turn off paradropping, because it’s not natural. I also use medium tanks ONLY(I don’t know how to underline that, so just imagine it is underlined).
What I mean by that is medium tanks are the only tanks I use.
There is no cw meta for infantry in sp. The difference in effectiveness is so small it is negligable outside of very specific circumstances.

I really love artillery with medium flame tanks, or any division with horses 🐎
8 infantry battalions and three artillery battalions, 25-width for better attack capabilities. Alternatively, you can make it 30w by adding more artillery battalions.
6 + 1 is actually great for not getting reinforce memed and for small countries with no manpower.

without the 2 med tank d ngl it's still great if u have a ton shit of soft attack, td's are a waste of industry and don't provide too much soft attack unlike SP Artillery

Yep 9/4 with support arty, eng, rangers recon.
I use 25/0 with no support arty, while playing as the USSR
6 marines 3 artillery 1 artillery support 1 engineer support 1 logistics support 1 anti-air
i just used full cavalry division with arty , engineers , aa , mp (for roleplay) and logi while playing as Soviets and it went fine

I use cavalry as a normal power not as a garison. I exist, cavalry is great
whenever i use calvary they get destroyed, but ig they can be better for speed and such

Hey! I use armoured cars!.. well did, once… as the division’s recon element… wasn’t all that bad tbh (also they are very good for garrisons)
They are good for garrison's manpower, not very cost effective tho
Still using 7/2 and 20 widths because I can’t be bothered to learn the new meta template

Not necessarily bad, just not the meta anymore (9/1s are what I use mostly)
