  • The Pony Club Polocrosse Challenge was a quadrangular competition held alongside the 2011 Polocrosse World Cup in the UK, to both showcase up and coming Pony Club Polocrosse players and also to give them experience of playing on an international stage. It featured teams from Great Britain, England, Northern Ireland and the USA. The USA were lent horses by the GB and England teams. Most of the matches took place during the week between the two weekends of World Cup action, with the finals on the second weekend.
The final match of the group stages saw Great Britain take on the USA. Great Britain knew a win would put them through to the final, while the USA were playing for pride. They couldn't make the final themselves but could help both England and Northern Ireland go through if they beat Great Britain.
