This theme, this place that is Elysion always gets me tearing up. It's such an earnest and wholesomely calm version of "Close in the Distance" that gets me right in the feels and reminds me that "Yeah, stuff will get bad, but it can also get better if we all try for it."
Endwalker sent me through an actual crisis, while the resolution to the expac definitely helped, I didn't feel completely happy or hopeful again until I got to elysion. The music, all the little creatures, and the promise that even in a place like Ultima Thule, you can still have hope really hit me hard.
The omicronians beast tribe is more of a conclusion to endwalker than the stuff in the 13th ever will be. This made me so happy to see the progress and regrowth of the societies of the universe.
Take my thumbsup for the adorable /waterfloat -ing with the Grebuloffs ; w; they're so precious. I love this remix, I wish it played when you rode the jellyfish.
Just got to rank 7 right before the maintenance, and did this very thing (/waterfloat with the Grebuloffs).😂 I loved the whole idea of the place: to use dynamis to create new life, separate from the sins of the past. Elysion isn't a promise of a perfect world, it's just a chance for a better one.
So heres the thing, everyone is familiar with medusa, but of the other sisters (those being stheno and euryale) medusa is the only one that is mortal. Both the middle child (euryale) and the eldest (stheno) are immortal beings. Regarding medusa, everyone is familiar with the legend of perseus slaying medusa and spawning the mythical pegasus from her sliced neck. subscribe for more gorgon facts
Do you think WOL could be Poseidon? Considering Arion and all? I thought maybe Lahabrea was pre-raid story because he made the Pegasuses (pegasi?) now I'm pretty confident in that idea but I doubt we'll ever get total confirmation. Then again not all the Greek references necessarily translate to 1 to 1 interpretations of the Greek God roles.
I'm not sure what pants I had on my character, but the boots are the rebel boots, the top in the first part is a level 80 or 90 crafted gathering chest piece that I forget the name of, and in the second half, I'm using the swallowskin jacket
