Awesome that your cameraman did some closeup views to capture how you’re aligning the PPF.
Thank you!!
Love your videos. I'm 1 year into ppf wondering how to avoid lift/glue lines. I use xpel. Love to see a video on this topic and how you tackle them. Thanks
Thanks! To avoid lift lines is pretty tough and I’ll be honest, I haven’t quite figured that out yet. All I do know is that with other films it takes a lot more to get lift lines. Films with a strong adhesive like XPEL can be pretty easy to get them where as films with a weaker adhesive are pretty tough to get them with if that makes sense.
Eric, your videos are super helpful. Thank you!
🙏🙏🙏
Awesome video. Would it be possible to show how you finish with post heat and wrap around edges.
Its something I've done in previous videos, but don't do in every video due to wanting to keep the videos from getting to long.
Great vid Eric! Are the 2023’s similar?
Yes they are!
One more question lol Can you show us how trace around the cameras and everything like maybe make it a prepping video of how you cut the film trace the camera holes clean the car and get it ready for the install
Not a bad idea
I appreciate your shearing
🙏🙏🙏
So a liter of tack solution should last a while for the DIYer at home. Someone may not install all the pieces in a couple days. How long do you recommend keeping the unused tack solution before throwing it out and making a fresh batch?
Tack solution will be good for months. Slip solution on the other hand needs to be poured out next day and made new. Soap will break down in water overnight.
@@DriveProtected Thank you Eric!
What size roll did you cut this bumper with?
I believe this one was done with a 36” roll.
Also do you order your ppf to fit the vehicle or do you cut everything at your shop
We cut everything in house!
Where should I order the ppf from if I want to do it myself
