Hey Steve just wanted to say thanks for all of the good content over the years I started my apprenticeship in a service van as a first year apprentice and had very little experience with no mentorship. Your videos have gotten me to this point and I'm now a journeyman. Thanks brother
10:29 and 14:09 : Question - What do you do if while tightening these parts, they're not aligned to the other pipes they need to join, and the connection won't tighten up any more?
Glad I don't have a boiler, just another system to go bad and maintain. Are water radiators still a thing for a heat source? And if you leave for vacation why don't you turn of the water ? If you can't leave your house for a week sounds like a bad investment to me.
Nice gague........Lol. You depend on your boiler to heat your home and you can't read your temp. or pressure! Doesn't say much about the homeowner. I wonder if his gas gague works in his car!
Steve,We have a summer house ,we dont go out there in the winter ,what kind of alarm should i get ,to know if the house gets cold or wet ? Thankyou btw ,i love your videos
This boiler would be big money to replace because it has the water storage tank. I'm thinking 8- 9k. I assuming this is the reason why you didn't ballpark him a number.
Got called to a house where the basement was flooded. Got there and their kids were jumping off the stairs into the water like it was a swimming pool. The next door house was worse. The basement flooded and the water came up through into the 1st floor. Oh yea mama, I want my mommy.
No Paul all pet groomers are closed at the moment. The only time they can open is if the dog has a referral from a vet as they have a medical need for grooming. My little Marshall is prone to matted fur on his scrotum so I need to keep an eye on it. You can tell when he is smarting as his stride is shorter and he refuses to stoop fully when passing a stool. If Marshall does struggle I shall email the vet with a photo of his scrotum and I should get a referral to the groomers. I hope yourself and Gloria are in good health. Regards, Stuart.
Oh Steven got him in Dutch. He was bragging about his diverter, AKA a water gutter downspout, Steve zinged him "oh and she's the brains out of the operation huh?". Ouch.
@shaun Donovan What are you even talking about? Did you even watch the video? The customer was just being friendly, keeping conversation. Didnt sound like he knew anything, just made some educated guesses and hired a pro. You are a terrible judge of character.
Relief valves should be changed at least every 5 years. If their too old they won't open if the pressure reaches 30 psi and then the boiler becomes a ticking time bomb.
@@johnspartan5631 I change the expansion tank, relief valve, guage, auto vents and fill valve. Most of the time they all haven't been changed in years and the fill valve typically fails when the boiler is getting bled.
Nope I won’t be watching. I don’t partake in communist activities lol. I heard Beijing Biden called in the national guard just so he actually had people there to watch. The 10 people who actually attended his rallies were not enough haha
@@tonymanero5544 This is about the 10th. time you’ve made this comment. I love the country, but not what the left is doing to it. I think many of the others feel the same. If socialism is so great, why don’t you move to Venezuela?
3:08 - homeowner - “Alright if you need something let me know” ...then proceeds to stay and watch entire job - priceless !!!

Nice work!
3:59 Doesn't tag say you changed it 4/11/2012?
Probably when he put the boiler in. It's old enough to reflect it.
How much is a boiler? Steve's response "For you? It ain't gonna be cheap you better go sitdown" Lol
Yo he’s no joke Love watching his videos
Smooth answer with the storage tank 8-9k i'm thinking.
That gutter piece is a nice touch.
Doesn’t the last 4/11/12 tag 🏷 said replace pressure meter? Nozzle filter , relief valve and something drain.?
This guy is yappin' non stop Mama.
what amazes me is HOW Many different systems Steve has expert knowledge of. true pro
They sell wifi water sensors that can notify you of a water leak for things like that.
Watch out ur in my way 🤣
Great job steve
Did the bill go up when he said he didn't like Trump?? :)
Some customers are ok. I don’t mind. it all depends on the vibe. This guy sounds cool
Plus he got Steve the ladder.
The expansion tank sounded ok ?
Why did you change it ?

Who needs Hamburger when ya got Steak at home..Depends if it's a $2 Steak.
I have the same problem but the guy said it was the leak on the tankless coil inside the boiler, don’t know if it’s true

If he's gonna be on your back Steve , he might as well put a ring in ya lol
I hate when customers do that

What's up Steve ?
That gauge was probably on the Titanic.
IMO just bust out the glass on it.

Nice job, thanks for posting Steven!
Never mind that boiler! Where's Molly?!
Make sure you tax this customer under the green new deal tax rate. Here’s ya slip buddy lol. Enjoy
If I had a dollar for every relief valve you’ve changed...
This customer is brutal! Typical demo, thinks he knows everything

U changed relief valve on 4/11/12
It’s the expansion tank.
Relief valves should be changed at least every 5 years. If their too old they won't open if the pressure reaches 30 psi and then the boiler becomes a ticking time bomb.
believe its common practice to replace both when changing the tank no?
