Outstanding accomplishment Jackson. A lot of people really don’t get how big this is. You don’t just show up in Hawaii and take any waves away from the locals, especially at Pipe. You have to invest a huge amount of time in paying your dues to earn your spot in that line up.

I’m from the PNW (hour from Olympia). I learned how to surf on my own on some small waves at Makaha. That was just on one short vacation to Oahu. Only other time surfing was on a friend’s board that was entirely too short for me in Encinitas.
I miss surfing though. I’ve been skateboarding since I was 5 and want to get back out there. I’m 43 now. Cherish your youth. Bless up.

I was super stoked to learn more about the surfing world and i am no where near your level but hearing jamie harp on you to get barreled made me want to make it a goal of mine too (someday lol!!!). Great barrel Jackson!!💯😂🤙. My channel is all fishing, but before I broke my leg and ankle a year ago. Surfing was my thing! A good carve or turn takes practice and and luck at first. Then once you know what you need to feel under your feet. Carve and cut backs will be done with your eyes closed 💪🤙
