I have no idea how he got through those opening lines without losing it completely. As raw and heartfelt as ever a song was sung. He's incredible.

This was an anthem for me in college, and this live version after Paul Hester’s passing is devastating. I honestly don’t know how Neil Finn got through it, but it is beautiful.

It’s horrific and it takes lives when people feel there’s no escape

Because at that level (and I used to live it and MISTAKENLY believe there was no solution) it's a spiritual/demonic attack.
You can only "fight" spiritual with spiritual. Ephesians 6:12.
Jesus is King of the spiritual realm and every demon MUST flee at his name.
People used to know the Bible (or at least the New Testament or at least the four Gospels) so they used to know this fact.

I still remember this even tho i'm in the uk - As lovely as the video is, it's a sad one for me, Neil looks heartbroken, and how he got thru the song after the tribute they did beforehand is a mystery. Paul, we miss you even now fella.
Neil kept it tight and together during this great and very emotional offering to the great Crowded House drummer, Paul Hester RIP. I would've lost it at the first verse since it is one of my favorite Crowded House songs.
Maybe, the loss was too recent and too raw, for a lead-in? Can we all please just pause for a moment to say thank you to Paul for his musical contribution to the memories of those privileged enough to view his video antics and hear his musical talents. As is stated, very audibly at the end of this "Love you Paul."

I have been told people who take their own life feel their families would be better off without them, but I still just dont understand it. A successful man with young children who need their dad, a partner who loves them and parents who would be left devastated by the loss of their son. Just can't get my head around it...

Hey Aria channel, We (My brother and family) have been watching the clip of Neil on here for years and always loved the into tribute to Paul Hester. (To the point where we can easily recite the narrative and we regularly did.) Why have you now had it removed??? Seems like we have now lost a piece of history and you've ruined the spirit of this performance. Not happy!
