Went to sliding rock as a kid. There is one path on that rock that has a drop and then a flat spot that stops you in your tracks. The people that slide that direction have the misfortune of breaking their back side. When they hit it all they can do is sit there and cry. I'm sure there has been many people who have broke their tailbone through the years. Once our friend started to slide and pushed off with her hands and badly cut her hand and required stiches. What made it worse she was the only one who had a driver's license and she had to drive out of there bleeding profusely. It's great fun but be careful.

Google maps calls it Daniel Ridge Trail and it's near the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education / State Fish Hatchery. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful but the area is kinda confusing, lol.
