Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was about ready to give up on my project. You just saved me a lot of grief and disappointment. Im so glad my husband told me to watch UA-cam for solutions. Btw, I found a yarn threader on Amazon that works great with tapestry needles.
Thank you for this Tutorial. I have had some pc circles in my supply box for years and never used them. I always made the square coaters, but now I think I will try some round coasters using the technique you demonstrated. I think somebody will be getting round coaters for Christmas this year.
Thanks Sereatha! We have another video showing that needle threading method. That video is here: ua-cam.com/video/BSop5LmF5es/v-deo.html. Please subscribe to our channel so you don't miss any videos!

Hi! Usually either Worsted Weight or DK weight yarn is used for plastic canvas. But you can use almost any scrap yarn you have as long as it covers the plastic. Happy Stitching!
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood the original question. We have a video tip which shows this method to help thread a needle. Here is the video: ua-cam.com/video/BSop5LmF5es/v-deo.html
Raven, you would weave the strings underneath to hide them on the back. Check out our tutorial here: www.needlepointers.com/main/youtubecontent.aspx?UA-camPageID=58. Happy Stitching!
I made these as coasters. I am not sure why they are coming up as playing card holders. However, you may be able to stitch two coaster together along the bottom and use as card holder. I will have to try to see if it works. If it doesn't work, coming up with a design is a wonderful idea. Thanks.
Hi! We have another video on how to do the overcast stitch which is used to cover the edges of the canvas. Check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/T7DnNEYcbQQ/v-deo.html

Yes, make disc with raised center for playing card holder
If you put two finished coasters together and stitch partly around to hold them, it should work for holding playing cards.

What is that what you thread the needle with?
It's yarn.
Needlepointers I was wondering how you threaded the yarn into the needle, is that paper you put on it?

You didn't show finishing or the outside rim. Also, the video was a bit blurry.
