Nothing about them is slam. Not since their first album lol... I wouldn't even call this song anything other than death metal with some core elements. Not even brutal death.

@@nazgullinux6601 I completely agree. Do they have slam riffs? Sure. But they don't have a heavy emphasis on slam riffs compared to other bands, therefore I wouldn't call them a slam oriented band. Other Death Metal bands like Dawn Of Demise also have occasional slam riffs, doesn't make them "slam".

Oh my god if this album is going into a Quake I direction (Lovecraft, gothic, celtic, oriental, terracotta, vintage, forbidden knowledge, eldritch abominations, parallel dimensions, no silly power metal dragons, chainsaw-wielding ogres & slipgates)... that... that'd be cool.
Thumbs up if you dislike the Disney-looking Quake Champions with it's overly sexualised Overwatch female characters and prefer Quake's original barbaric grittiness and "Mouth of the Abyss".
If a developer ever decides to reboot Quake they should hire Mick Gordon & Ingested as a composer

this seems like going backward in some ways but not in a bad way like they used to push to be the most hardcore sounding Death metal band then went for a slam+deathcore mix and now pure death metal and this isn't bad but corpromesis & Skinned and fucked as an example is just classics but overall Ingested will be remembered as kings of Death metal.
The only problem is modern death metal is fucking boring.
