the pats will never be the same again. i don’t think that kraft and eliot wolf realize just how bad this team is. i know that people used to crap on bill for never picking really good wide receivers but the ones he did get in the later rounds of the draft knew how to play. what the pats are doing now is just finding a bunch of middle tier to awful wide receivers and offensive pieces and calling it a deep wr core, it’s ridiculous. the patriots are not rebuilding at all, they are just putting pieces in the puzzle but not solving it. they need to find a real wr to throw the ball to because there is no way on earth that drake maye is going to succeed with bourne, osborn, douglas, and polk at wr. NOT TO MENTION JUJU SANU. what the pats are doing is cheap and ridiculous and i think i speak for most of the fanbase when i say that. i say this with the upmost respect for the team as possible! GO PATS!! (i pray that someone in the front office sees this and realizes how the fans feel)
Respectfully, they drafted WRs to compliment Maye. Maye's exceeds at deep balls, so we got Polk, a deep ball threat. Maye's biggest issue is consistent accuracy due to his footwork. They're working on that, but guess what, Polk also is great at extending himself to make catches. I've watched all of Maye's college attempts. He's gonna be that guy. We're building a team to support his development. We have a stout defense and the offense is working with what they got. What would you have preferred they do? We're not expecting a one year turn around. Our ceiling is like 9 wins.

I’m not sure how much college ball you watch, but this WR class is DEEP. A lot of the 2nd round guys go in the 1st in most years. The expectations shouldn’t be too high, but I think the team is in a lot better of a position than you think.
