I am glad for this video. The introduction almost convinced me to get one but after seeing the video of it being used on heat shrink I now know it is too weak to be useful.

Depends on the situation. Solder seal connectors are some of the hardest to do with heat and I had the AC blowing full blast at me. I probably did 40 connectors on my boat last summer with this and it was excellent. 👍
