I don’t think they forgot about them. I think it’s going to be a special or a movie or Season 2. I saw a clip where they met at a movie theater or something and Jen said he heard that he had a partner. It was not shown here. Plus, we have the Dad throwing away the resignation letter. I think it’s going to show where the father try to force Jeng to stay. Whether by threatening Pat and his company or something. So these two factors make me believe in some special episodes or a movie with deleted scenes.
Out of all BL series, this one has made me wait so patiently each week for the episodes to come. We are the patient fandom for real tho 😂

Petition for a season 2 . We need Jaab and Jen's story. We also need to know what the father did cos he didn't accept Jeng's resignation. And he's also yet to accept his relationship.

The Jeng and Pat’s story is not the typical cliché office story and it has unique storyline and it has a mature chemistry. 💜✨

The ending was not an ending but a "to be continued" episode. Man, and Ben, gave us the insight that their journey together is continuing along with many hints throughout episode 12.
The introduction of Jeng’s mother to Pat with inferences that in the near future she will warm up. accept and get used to Pat to be more of a caring mother or mother-in-law? Jeng’s father’s refusal to accept Jeng’s resignation but threw it in the waste basket might infer future negotiations to get Jeng back into the company, Jaab going to meet Jen and possible rekindle their love are all possible future endeavors for these characters.
Dee Hup House. May I congratulate your entire production company, actors, directors, script writes and every single person who had a part in creating this series which became a true masterpiece of cinema and film. This is one of the best series with a realistic and natural story that brought two men of different social-economic levels together as a perfect couple that had their flaws, flaws that occur in a business, it was just so entertaining.
To end the 12th episode in a furniture store was perfect as I see it. It reinforced my suggestion that the future between Pat and Mr. Jeng will flourish for many, many years.
I am so grateful to have gone step by step with every character sharing their tears, heartache and love. Yes, I am 73 years old, a blessed grandfather who loves series like these. Why? Because gender has nothing to do with the brilliant story line, any combination of genders, I feel, would produce the same result of two people really developing and realizing that they are in love. Tomorrow, I celebrate 49 years with my beloved, I pray the character couples in Step-by-Step reach that milestone too and many more.

This series shows that there's no perfect relationship. You'll hurt each other at times, but if you really love each other, you'll work it through.
We need season 2. I see Jeng’s father making it unbearable for them in season 2. Then Pat growing on Jeng’s mum so she takes up for them and finally the dad gives in and starts to see kid son happiness and also Jeng goes back to the company while Pat’s company grows. Plus we need to know what happened between Jaab and Jen

I know everyone is hoping for a season 2 but I'm already satisfied with this ending. there's no fantasy ending where all of their issues magically resolved by the end of the series cause that's not what would happen in reality. Jeng's unanswered resignation, his mother's reaction towards pat and of course Jaabjen gave more justice to the title Step by Step. Their relationship will continue to grow just like any other relationship, tackling one issue at a time in each others company. Congratulations to the whole team and to DeepHouse for pulling this off and ending it with flying colours 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Let’s face it, this series is the realest of ALL series with the reality of growth. Everything is taken in a timely and realistic timeframe. Even the ending has many open endings which AGAIN ITS SUPER realistic to every lifes. Absolutely love the series EVEN if Pat annoyed me so many times hahaha buy got to remember no one is perfect lol
Step by step really humbled and truly distinguished itself from other overhyped BL dramas. Its captivating story was both refreshing and compelling, as the characters genuinely works in the series and developed meaningful relationships throughout. Gone were the repetitive scenes of characters aimlessly staring at each other with no chemistry and continuous make out scenes. The board deserves utmost praise for their exceptional work in crafting a remarkable series that surpassed expectations.

This series isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I really loved it. It was going perfect until they started rushing it. I wonder why some bls do that and then break the flow. Nevertheless I think I will find myself coming back to watch it again.
I agree with you, it was literally going STEP BY STEP then towards the end they rushed it like all BLs. I’m looking forward to something extra though, considering that JaabJen was left out in this finale….

The issue is that they tried to fit 3 novels into 12 episodes. I love the series with all my heart, but I do wish we could’ve gotten more full episodes of JengPat together

Hoping for season 2. Little disappointed that they were not hungry and thirsty for eachother after getting back together after two years, but nevertheless happy to 34:54 see them together. As a Gay Man i have to say this is a pretty realistic view of a serious Gay relationship without Any cliche and bl fanservice
Jeng exudes and represents maturity with a forward thinking mindset; he represents patience and love; and a heart for Pat that most people dream of in a partner 🥰. Jeng did everything with the best of intentions for Pat, and knew there would be eventual consequences - thus he still resigned from his dad's company, endured his 2 year breakup and stayed optimistic, and found his way back to Pat - yay 🥰! While Pat is cute on the surface, his insecurities, immaturity, and cowardice sent us on a conflicting emotional roller-coaster ride and made it hard to sympathize with him. It took 2 years for Pat's circle to finally get him to step outside of his own way and realize that he was in the wrong 🤔? Thank goodness Pat's dad really put it in perspective for Pat that all relationships aren't one-sided and that people will let true love slip away if they're not being rational 👏🏽. I'm perplexed as to why Jaab's and Jen's situation wasn't explored more and left unresolved, and leaving a lot of questions 🥺. Overall "Step By Step" was an enjoyable series ... I just wish the final 2 episodes weren't so all over the place with the fast forward sequences, because they seemed rushed and incomplete. Nonetheless, the entire cast was awesome 👌🏾 👏🏽 👍🏾 😍 and thank you for this series - Cheers!
Pat is lucky having Jeng who cook's for him quit's his position in his company just to be a full time Boyfriend to him ❤️ Man really did Justice to his character he portrayed every emotion really well kudos to him 🖤 25:15 25:16 25:20 and some people were assuming Pat was innocent 🤭I hope they'll give us a spinoff so we can truly understand what happened between Jaab and Jen .

This is clearly a very standard life of a couple... Exactly that's how people move... No one make it at the 1st day they saw and everything happened... That's called one night stand.... But here this series so good very good... I patiently watched it completely within a 2 days.... Amazing

This was a well made series with quality acting. I did find Pats character wearing and would have preferred less pouting and whining. However he was a good counterpoint for Jen’s quieter character. Overall,I enjoyed the show very much. Good job!

Los miedos,la inseguridad, el valor,la negación, la inmadurez, el amor,la pasión, el perdón y con unos personajes que traspasaron la pantalla para hacernos sentir cada palpitacion del corazón. Necesitamos más de ellos y ser los invitados al vínculo entre ambos. No their so called relationship ruined the show.
I would have liked for them to give more episodes and not rushed/forced the ending. I mean they got back together, but unless you thought about it, you wouldn’t have realized months had passed after they got back together. It was either weeks or months. I had to think from Dad going to play tennis, then them finally spending Pat’s birthday together and at his house or Jeng’s. Then Jeng’s birthday is a few weeks after Pat’s, so time had elapsed. Then it elapsed again when meeting the Mom and going back to the store where they bought his chair. That was confusing to me. So it felt rushed. But I am still happy, but wished they would have shown more how they built back up the trust during reconciliation process.

* Qué pasó con Jaab y Jen
* Y cómo se comportará Pat ante los nuevos retos y problemas que se avecinan y su relación con Jeng
* Jeng cumplirá la promesa de casarse ? tendrán ese hogar soñado
Tal cual! Imagino que habrá una segunda temporada y esta vez los personajes principales serán Jaab y Jen y en paralelo se verá el desarrollo de la historia de Jeng y Pat

Por ello coincido que debe mejor antes de ser actor principal

I just finished binge watching this and I honestly love it so much!! I love how it depicts the work culture more too instead of just straight out love story. Jeng and Pat have some of the best chemistry I've seen and they're both decently good actors. The whole cast is great and the plot is too. I do love a good slow paced love story, makes it more realistic though i can see how it'd be frustrating to wait weekly for each episode 😂
Btw, can anyone recommend me other light BL series like this with a good plot and actually good actors?

Specially Man was capable of showing a wide range of emotions just with his facial expressions and body language. His acting felt very natural. I think Ben has a lot to learn from Man. Hope they will work together in future.
All the side characters like Jaab, Jen, Ae, Kanoon and Tae did utmost justice to their roles. Their comedic retorts felt like actual conversations which added flavour to the series. I tend to skip these scenes in Thai Dramas, because most of the time they are over exaggerated and cringy. But I did not skip a single second of this drama.
Finally the use of music and lighting through out the drama was on point. "Yellow is happy and blue is sad".
One thing they could have done better is balancing out the pace of the drama. Another thing is balancing out the storyline. They chose to adapt a lot of real life scenarios into the drama, and at the same time chose to add a cliché breakup scene to the main storyline. They were all lovey-dovey - and one word from evil dad, poof! buy bye for two years. Those things don't happen in real life. Watching the last couple of episodes felt like an insult my intellectual self.(But I still watched it all 😁)

Pat is such a Gen z with his photo and IG habits and we have a Millennial in Jeng ! Perfect balance ⚖️
I also find that so endearing. BTW, I’m a millennial that works with and has several friends that are Gen Z or on the cut off (zillennials) and even if I’m used to it, we really do things differently. I’m actually older than Man Trisanu, the actor that portrays Jeng. But I look way younger, it’s my secret weapon. And I use social media a lot because of those friends, and my job or else I’d have a bare bones profile.

Just loved this series so much. It may have been slow but that's how real relationships form. They grow slowly. Man,Ben and the whole cast acted so well. Thanx Dee Hup for bringing just a good story to us. Wish there would be a 2nd season to show their relationship in the future.
Happy ending! Happy ending! Happy ending! Hallelujah for a happy freakin ending! It took forever to get here but I wouldn’t change a thing! I really truly hope we see ManBen together for another series! Maybe one that moves a little bit faster. They were exceptional together and individually!
It ended the series we waited for every week we don't need to wait anymore why it's hurting we gonna miss this series and mr.jeng ,Pat and all of them 😢😭🤧

This series was a masterpiece! Even tho we waited alot of eps, the ending was perfect! I believe this series haven't ended yet and will be continuation! And if this continues, I really want a happy ending for Jaab and Jen!! The actors and the grew have done an amazing job!❤
