That's an awesome looking pattern! Thanks for the update on the Whiting hackle. I love badger with the natural lateral line it makes on a streamer and the dark center it makes when wound. I'll have to look around for that Freshwater label. I have an American label saddle that's a unique variant. It's like a reverse or negative badger, the feather center is light and the outside is dark. Thanks for all the tutorials.
Joe Duca yeah it’s a sweet product because my only complaint was the size of the American hackle for some of my trout patterns on local waters. This is almost perfect for what I needed.
@@Svenddiesel yeah they are big. I also have an American furnace rooster neck that's very nice. They're so pretty I get mesmerized trying to pluck a feather. I've some Metz Magnum (saltwater) rooster capes that are very good, also some Keough Saltwater dyed over grizzly that are smaller in size. If I can find India necks I buy them for the smaller streamers, that's what I used when I started tying back in the day. Thanks and take care...
